“Great place for a casual dinner. The fired chicken is a favorite, not at all greasy! The French dip is another tasty dish, made from prime rib, it just melts in your mouth. My son's favorite is the chicken and waffle, once again the chicken is the treat.“

“Both the wife and I had the chicken fried chicken (sausage gravy) with eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. It was amazing. Service is great. It has the "Old School Diner" feel going on 50's and 60's. Inside is clean and very well taken care of. You can tell the employee's all take pride in their work. The prices are right on par with what you get. This was my second time here and my experience was just as great as the first time. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer. I highly recommend.“
“I got an order of their fajita quesadilla with an extra order of tortillas. While waiting, I got myself a Diet Coke the lady gave me chips and salsa, which salsa was very tasty little hot for my taste again very tasty. my drive home the smells were so good. I couldn’t wait to get home and it was as yummy as the smells. I am glad I got the extra order of tortillas cause normally you just get a cheese quesadilla with the fajita meat and peppers and onions, salad, sour cream. I gave this place five stars.“
“Great food! had the patty melt and it was hands down one of the best that I have had. The large dinning area overlooks the Platte River. Had the weather been better, it would have been great to sit out on the large patio. The atmosphere was great as well as the service. Was part of a large group that arranged for a meeting, and they accommodated our group very well.“

We had an uncomfortable situation recently. we have two kids under 4. We recently were there when a guy was very vocal about being frustrated that a family was at a bar. Tara immediately jumped in to educate him that yes it’s a bar but also a family restaurant. They are always accommodating and make us feel comfortable. This place has amazing service, food, staff and is a staple in our neighborhood.“

“We are residents, so we've enjoyed the restaurant several times. The servers are always very friendly and efficient. They are happy to accommodate food requests. The food has always been tasty and fresh. There is a perfect variety to accommodate everyone. The atmosphere is bland on the inside and could use some plants or something to make it a little more comfortable, but the deck has lovely views of the red rocks. I ordered the Wisco burger which sounds a little crazy with all of the things that come on it but I wanted to try it since it’s something unique that you can’t find anywhere else. I really enjoyed the burger, the beer cheese on it was incredible. The way they fry their pickles is unique and was really good. I was hesitant to order the mac n cheese because I saw mixed reviews on it. But I also thought it was great. It might have been a little much with the cheese heavy burger I ordered but I wanted to try it. My partner ordered the fries as his side and they were great too.I’m so happy to have found a great burger place close to home after trying many other places like bad daddy’s and the lucky mutt and being a bit disappointed in both. “Stopped in on our way home to Colorado Springs from glenwood springs. I had the chicken sandwich with grilled chicken. It was delicious. Juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly. Had tots for a side which never disappoint. My girl friend had the adult Mac and cheese which also did not disappoint. It is very good. Good cheese, the chicken is good, always have some to take home and finish later.“
“The staff is so kind, patient and helpful! We had a large food order to done in, then ordered 3 boxes of Dilly bars and an ice cream cake to go. They offered to keep everything in the back freezer while we enjoyed our delicious meal. They did excellent on our custom birthday message on the cake. They were so friendly and for us, totally worth our hour+ drive from the foothills/mountains. We will always choose this DQ! “We live closer to the Dairy Queen on Pierce & Ken Caryl but that Dairy Queen had 15 cars waiting in the driveway and a full lobby Sunday at 8:30pm. That location also just seems packed no matter when and what time you go. We drove 9 minutes down the road to this location and it was completely empty! Walked right in and got our sweet treats! Stuff was friendly, quick and efficient“
