“Josh is an amazing waiter who served us fantastic food! Everything on their menu sounded good, which is unusual for me. I got the 1/2 sandwich and salad, which was so good. I have no pictures because I ate most of it before I thought of this. But my husband ordered the Farmer's skillet hash and a tropical sunrise. Looked just like the pictures! “I went there for the first time today. I drive by there a lot. l always thought it was a little deli that just made sandwiches, boy was I wrong. They have a great variety of different things. Our food was delicious as always however our waitress was struggling. We waited on our drinks about 20 min and waited on a second Bloody Mary almost 30 min. They comped it but still took forever. “This is the absolute best breakfast place in Colorado Springs, hands down. My husband and I try to eat here at least once a week. The food is delicious with huge servings for half the price of somewhere like IHOP, and so much tastier. The crew are all very kind, and incredibly quick and good at their jobs. I cannot recommend this place enough, and if I could rate it higher, I would. Tons of love for the food and everyone there, I tell everyone I can about this place.“

“My wife and I have road tripped over 100,000 miles together. We love to eat at little non-chain restaurants like this. Mountain Shadows is one of THE BEST we have ever eaten at. We ate there twice on our visit to CO Springs! Even with only two people waiting tables AND bussing, the service was amazing. Never felt forgotten about and they were friendly and personable. “I kept reading online that the food at Waffle House wasn't good. Being from New York, since we don't have it I always wanted to try. Finally had the opportunity. Came around 11pm and sat ourselves, the waitress had politely taken our order and I was surprised how quickly we got our food. I got the all star special (waffle, eggs, toast, bacon, hash browns) I tried the strawberry waffle they had, it was all great. The cherry on top of the service was, the waitress told me she was going to bring out some new eggs for me without me even saying anything. Absolutely great service and the food was really good too. Breakfast 24hrs in a diner setting is a vibe I'd like to have access to whenever. Thanks for the fantastic first experience!“

The food here never disappoints, especially the golden brown, crispy crust of my waffle that night. The person behind the grits did an outstanding job too, ensuring there wasn’t a single lump in sight.However, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the customer service. When I ordered my meal to go, my drinks were initially forgotten, and I had to remind the staff just as I was about to leave. Similarly, I wasn’t provided with any syrup for my waffles. Fortunately, I prefer using my own maple syrup at home, which pairs beautifully with their waffles, so it wasn't a big issue for me. Despite these oversights, the staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which I greatly appreciated. “This is my second time coming here. Each time I was so impressed with the kindness from the servers (Talia, from our first visit, and Allie, today’s server, are just amazing). Today, I watched one of the servers with an older person and just have a lovely conversation with them. The food is also delicious. I recommend the breakfast burrito! “The Broadmoor brunch is second to none (Brown Palace takes a close second for me), and I have been fortunate enough to try it many times over the years. It has always been pricey but you pay for the amazing atmosphere, convenience if you are staying t at Broadmoor, attentive service and good food (its definitely high quality and the variety is impressive but doesn't have anything unique, a and I think for this price it would make sense to have some specials that you keep going back for and can't find anywhere else). Overall, you have to indulge and try it at least once but it lost this wow factor for me and I would much rather try some new places for the fracture of the price.“

“This was a great cap for my nights I totally enjoyed the waffle House as it was nostalgic to me because I used to visit the local waffle House almost every weekend when I was younger back in texas. It felt like I was right back at home and even though it was busy the waitress took great care of us and even gave me a cake from her birthday. The only thing I will say is that there were mushrooms cooked into my meal and that was not something I ordered or even comes in my meal so because I was so understanding that she was busy I was gifted with a great piece of cake. Thank you so much waffle House for maybe pay attention to what you put in the food other than that it was a nostalgic and just like home.“
