“We ordered take out. Used the restrooms, which were really nice and clean. Staff super friendly. Most of the food was good. I really think the peasant potatoes are awful...flavor and texture. They are very undercooked. Everything else was pretty good. Please reconsider your recipe! I cannot be the only one who feels this way. Cheers.“

“Assyri took really good care of us and made the whole experience great. He was hardworking, attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people he’s helping and takes pride in his work.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he’s running the place within the next two years. He has the kind of work ethic and attitude that really stands out. Employees like him are a huge reason people come back, and we definitely will be returning. Hopefully Assyri is there when we do! He deserves the recognition for the great job he’s doing.“

“First time at Doug's was this morning for breakfast. Two things stuck out the most: 1. The attitudes of all those working. Excellent. Happy. Genuine. 2. The attention to all the 'simple' details was impressive. By that I mean, we probably had six or seven different people work our table during our meal. Host was great and quick. Server, the same. Someone else walked by and dropped our utensils and napkins. Food was delivered by the host (great sign of teamwork when the host is running food). Somebody else bussed our table. Someone else filled up our water glasses. We put our credit card out, another 'new' person processed it. Food was great. Prices were great. We definitely plan on going back. Deserved a review.“

“Our server brought out our entrees first while extra items were still being made, which was great! The top pancake wasn't hard from sitting under the heat lamp, and the rest of the food was wonderful. Really appreciate the service and attention to detail.“

“What a great place, feels fresh apparently new, I had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was the most flavorful one I've tried so far, goes well w/ either their gravy or Pork Green Chili (very good as well, has a good little kick to it), Mimosas are only $4 from 12pm-2pm on their Happy Hour, Ellie was my waitress she did a great job, also a very kind gentleman which I believe to be the manager was making sure that everything was ran well.“

“Wow… we had the most DELICIOUS breakfast here! They had this pancake special with bacon, cheddar cheese & black pepper syrup..!?!? Never had anything this good for breakfast tbh. And my total before my military discount was $27!!! 2 full meals. You aren’t getting that around here.

Polite, professional, payed attention to details which was very much needed because we were those annoying people that had lots of modifications to our entrees! He was so patient with us and everything came out EXACTLY as we ordered and wanted it. Love this place!“

“I have been coming here for a little over a year now, and I have to say, it has gotten better over the past 6 months. The manager used to serve me in the morning all the time before he was the manager. Each morning I would come in a little before 6. Each time he would be cooking bacon. Between me and bacon he was always able to get me out before the bacon.“
