And what makes it so special is that Danny, the owner, is usually there working just as hard as everyone he employs. “We went for breakfast and the food was on point. Had the country Benedict and the Homestead breakfast with the biscuits and gravy, scrabbled eggs and hash browns. We also had the iced espresso horchata chai. Everything was very delicious. The portions were good sized.The service was excellent and fast.“

I got the bacon fried rice and oh my God was it so tasty and cooked to perfection. They do not skimp out on the bacon pieces and the flavors are so amazing. My boyfriend got the breakfast tacos and oh my were they amazing. For being a small place you would expect it to smell like food, but it does not and that is what I love the most. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The decor is so cute. The staff is super sweet but that food is top-tier. One of the most amazing and intricate breakfast I’ve had in Denver.

Their breakfast sandwich was phenomenal, they offered a banana chocolate chip scone that was excellent and they have an “over night oat” oat meal that blew me away. “Wow! I eat GF due to an allergy, and Zell’s has just expanded my horizons! Their delicious crepes can be made completely GF! I had the Turkey, Brie and Raspberry Crepe, and it was amazing! The dessert crepes are yummy as well! I had no problems with my allergy from this food. I’m so excited to have found something new! The service was speedy yet very mindful of my allergy. “I have been going there for over 40 years. It is one of the best family restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorites are the Greek Chicken and Mexican Hamburger wings. The service is very personal; they all know you by name, and hugs are a delight. The owners are the best and treat you like you are part of the family. Every holiday, the decorations are professionally set up making the atmosphere calming and enjoyable to look at. They are big supporters of the Girl Scouts. He anticipated everything we needed without ever being overbearing, offered great recommendations, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.

“Had one of the egg Benedict dishes and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly. I opted for the home fries as my side and I was not disappointed. They were perfectly seasoned. For me, the sauce was a bit much as I forgot to ask for light sauce or even on the side. I just removed the excess and it was still delicious. We sat outside, but closest to street. It was an early morning weekday so the loud trucks were a bit of a nuisance. Next time I would sit closer to the building to enjoy the outside. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Service was great. Will definitely be back.“
