Café Miriam - Uptown is a wonderful and welcoming addition to the neighborhood with a lovely, chill vibe. The cafe is located in a charming house and offers a great atmosphere, often featuring live jazz music that is not disruptive. The staff and owner are exceptionally friendly, hospitable, attentive, and kind, making guests feel very welcome the second they walk in. The indoor dining area is casual with a good amount of seating, including more upstairs, and there is also outdoor seating.
The food is consistently wonderful, delicious, and amazing—even described as being so good it could bring tears to one's eyes. Specific recommendations include the sweet crepe to split and the Pommes Crepe from the brunch menu. The food presentation is super cute, and the cafe is more affordable than most places. The Cortado is also noted as very tasty. With excellent customer service and really fun decorations, it is a highly recommended spot for a lazy morning or a meal with friends.
