“This place gets a little shade now that they've expanded their reach and I think that has resulted in a perceived decline in quality. I generally only get their corned beef hash, however because it is consistently good (on a previous visit it came up short on the amount of corned beef, but staff brought out a nice sized plate of extra CBH as a result). I add a pancake as well and they are creative and good.

I had the best experience there recently with server Val as she was the most attentive server I've ever had there, especially considering I was the only person on the patio. I usually sit at the bar and find that service is lacking there and employees are more concerned with closing tasks in the last hour of operation than the people at the bar. Snooze needs more Vals!“

“Came here with my cousin directly after the Gothic Takeover at Lakeside on Saturday 5/16 and we CLEARLY did not read the sign on the door about the hours, we came in like 1 hour before closing time (I APOLOGIZE AGAIN) but our host and server were so, so amazing! Cannot stress this enough, it was all laughter, smiles, and fantastic energy in there and they were playing BANGERS! I've never had such an incredible experience at an ihop before in my life, I did not catch the host or server's names working that night, but give those people a raise TODAY!!! They're awesome 💗“

“This restaurant(s) is so unique and incredibly sophisticated no matter what venue you are looking for this is the place! The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!“

Their breakfast sandwich was phenomenal, they offered a banana chocolate chip scone that was excellent and they have an “over night oat” oat meal that blew me away. “Visited Denver in September and found Sam’s across the road from our hotel. We had breakfast every day as the menu was massive as were the portions. The service was friendly and efficient. I even came home with a baseball cap in the colours of my local soccer team 😂 Loved Denver and loved Sam’s“

We were also able to reserve a table online (Doug's Diner refused call ahead), which was helpful, though it seemed like the wait restarted once we checked in. “I have been going there for over 40 years. It is one of the best family restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorites are the Greek Chicken and Mexican Hamburger wings. The service is very personal; they all know you by name, and hugs are a delight. The owners are the best and treat you like you are part of the family. Every holiday, the decorations are professionally set up making the atmosphere calming and enjoyable to look at. They are big supporters of the Girl Scouts. “Wonderful restaurant in McGregor Square in Denver. Food is fresh and delicious. My family stayed at the attached hotel for a week and ate there multiple times and tried various dishes. All of them were delicious (fried chicken sandwich, bacon egg and cheese, chorizo and potatoes, and smash burger, and chicken and biscuits, cronuts). The restaurant is bright and airy. Servers were really attentive. Prices were fair based on the generous portions. Can definitely share most dishes.“

We enjoyed the carnitas, the California, and the green chili and chorizo with a side of bacon. All the Benny's were very good, especially the green chili and chorizo. Bacon was perfect! “One of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and absolutely the best omlette I've enjoyed. My wife and I shared a few cocktails, including their pride month offering. I stared with the spicy egg salad on crispy potato because the menu said "everyone needs at least one," and I try to be a rule follower. It was a good first bite, but not the best part of the meal. My wife had the chicken sandwich, which was a special menu item. It was fantastic (I had a bite). For me though, the omlette was the star of the meal. the eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was a nice complement to the eggs and beet cured salmon, separately, and also as a composed bite. The real treat, however, was the spring peas (not pictured) on the inside. We'll return next time we are in Denver, and reluctantly, I'll try something else from the menu. I should add that our sever was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the wall of sauces is a little overwhelming, but in a good way. My favorite was the Colfax Killer. I really enjoyed it on my wife's fries and the greens that were on the side of my dish.“
