Great food, staff is really friendly and beautiful view. The Cast Iron Red Trout is delicious. Highly recommend the Peach Blueberry Cobbler.
It started out with our being seated and ordering drinks before the manager walked up to our table and informed my husband that they have a mostly casual dress code, but that he needed to remove his black fleece cap.
I would expect him to need to remove his hat at many establishments, but not at one next to waterfalls in a park where most people are expected to hike almost a mile to the restaurant.

Got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was delicious prices are high but that is expected at a tourist spot, service was very kind and caring vibe was very nice.

Restaurant 1858 offers a delightful dining experience, named after the gold rush year. Located inside Seven Falls, it is accessible by a short shuttle ride. The atmosphere is super charming and perfect for adults, with excellent service. The menu includes a variety of dishes, such as bison, Western Slope Trout, and fish entrees. The trout is outstanding, and the bison was excellent. The bread, cornbread, trout dip, and kale salad are delicious. Foods are beautiful and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making guests feel welcome. Drinks were fantastic. Reservations are recommended. Entry to Seven Falls requires a fee.
