I had heard about issues people had in the past. But it appears things have recently changed . We met Ryan who is the new GM . You can tell he takes pride in his store. “Greatest (lonely) staff on the 4th of July. I took my grands out for a late lunch. Not only did they get to choose what they wanted, the pizzas were expertly prepared and consumed! The employees were so friendly and helpful, and even delivered our pizzas to our table . Major kudos!!“

“My wife and I live in Colorado Springs. We were walking around Old Colorado City, actually heading to a different restaurant when we found ourselves in front of Pizzeria Rustica. On a whim, I decided I wanted pizza. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. This place is mind-blowingly out of this world. The absolute best pizza I've had in my entire 60 years of life. Every other pie will pale in comparison. They're crust is absolutely amazing. The sauce is perfection. Just an absolutely delicious experience. Loved, loved, loved their Caesar salad. And if you don't try the tiramisu before you leave, you're really missing out. They've got a large, well covered patio, which we sat at because we had our pup with us. Pizzeria Rustica, we will be back again, again, and again. You're awesome!“

The 4 piece absolutely could serve 2 hungry people. The crust was crispy and delicious and the toppings were fresh and yummy too. Highly recommend!“

“From out of state and came here last week for a group event on the patio. AWESOME! Staff was so friendly and quick. Lots of beer on tap options and everyone's pizzas at the tables were off the chain good. You've got to love the stone-fire grilled pizza! Not sure why there are 1 star reviews on here except that marijuana is legal in CO. Don't listen to the haters and give this place a shot if you are local. I'm jealous.

“I have never been a pizza person. It's fine, but I'd pretty much rather have anything else. But this pizza? I dream about it. And the dog is sad because he no longer gets the crust. Sometimes the crust gets a little charred, but I actually like that better than when it's perfectly cooked. The sauce is perfection. If you order online, be prepared to wait an extra 5 minutes. Friendly staff, clean facility, and pizza that will turn the indifferent into dreamers!“

“This is what one of my daughters wrote earlier today about an amazing staff including a nice lady who I regret I do not remember the name of and Patrick.......Today, I was reminded by Domino’s how amazing people can be. For Madison’s birthday, we went to eat pizza. When we were eating, Dominos offered us a tour and taught us how to make pizza. We were told that the franchise owner encourages going above and beyond for the youth. I know I speak for all of us when I say the gesture was appreciated. I am partial to NY and Chicago style pizza, so discovering the Borriello Brothers little place in downtown Colo Springs, remains special. The guy ringing me up told me they shouldn’t even be doing it and he didn’t have a way to ring up the sauce. I told him I’ve been ordering it for almost 14 years and he said, “well that’s gonna stop today.” It can’t be that hard to ring in a side of sauce. If I can’t get the sauce anymore I just may just quit coming here. It’s one of those things that made them stand out to me.“
