“New to the area and this place was inviting and the beers were good too! Steven the owner was gracious enough to give me a tour of their brewing area too! It was a bit of a drive up from my new place in canon city, but wackadoo will be my go-to for weekends!“

“I can’t say enough good things about Peaks N Pines. Their beer is consistently fantastic and their service is top notch. All of the staff is friendly with one specific gentlemen being outstanding. My first visit was Bingo night, unknowingly, I came in a bit late and he helped me get caught up and made me feel right at home. I will update this post with his name when I return.“
“This wonderful Veteran owned, local brewery is filled with great beer and personality!! Employees are knowledgeable, friendly, community minded and encourage well-behaved dogs and children to enjoy time with family and friends. The food truck rotation is delicious or outside food is welcome. The beer rotation and quality are some of the best in this town!! This is a must-visit location!! Thank you Urban Animal Beer Co for such a lovely experience!“
“We were just passing through town, got off I-25 for fuel, and then by chance we stumbled into this awesomely UNIQUE location for brunch. From the moment we walked through the door, we were impressed by the hospitality offered by everyone we encountered. I'll be back next time I pass through the Springs and I'll highly recommend it to all my friends.“
“If you visit Colorado Springs and fail to visit BATCH before you leave, turn around and go back. NOW. They have a great selection of beers and ciders that have been masterfully crafted with a wonderful sense of creativity. I stopped in during my first visit to Colorado Springs and within minutes of being there, I felt as though I was being treated like a regular who stops in daily. I travel a lot and visit a lot of breweries. Batch Slapped was an instant favorite.“
“Conveniently located downtown on South Tejon (across from Denver Biscuit Company and Streetcar 520). Small, clean, friendly, and good beer!! Dogs and families welcome. Pizza available or have food delivered. Outdoor space available, trivia on Tuesdays, live music Saturdays and open all week! Bring a buddy, co-workers, or plan a brewery crawl around town.“
“Go here. Great beer, friendly staff, and a kind owner. Dogs are welcome inside. They don't have a food menu but they serve pizza and popcorn. Fun atmosphere. I recommend doing flights to sample their 12 beers. If you are a first responder, military, or a teacher you need to check it out.“
“Best beer I had on my recent trip to Colorado Springs. The bartender was friendly and helped me pick out a flight. The standouts were the blood orange ipa and the ancient ale. They even gave me recs for a few other breweries to try-which i enjoyed but the beer at Bell Brothers was easily my favorite.“
“This brewery is AMAZING!!! Fantastic beer, super clean, incredibly kind and efficient service… and the plants!! Facing due west, they are taking full advantage of it!Beautiful place. Cool merch— Definitely stop in and check it out, play some games and drink some great beers!Only complaint: I wish they were closer to me on the north west side of town!“
“Love the vibes. Both kids and dog friendly. There can be a lot of kids running around outside. They have 17 beers on tap, at least they did at the time we were there, not sure if they plus or minus on different days. They have one seltzer on tap and a variety of other beers. The El Mango was so good if you like a sweeter beer.Outside in the connexs they have different food options that you can select for. There’s a lot of seating, can get busy but still a good time.“
“One of the best breweries in Colorado Springs. Super friendly staff, excellent view, and very dog friendly. Thier experimental list of drafts is usually very good, with lots of creativity. No kitchen on premises, but they do allow outside food and frequently have food trucks. My only caution would be is that if you are not a dog or animal person you may want to pass it up, there are usually 4 or more dogs in the bar relaxing with thier owners in this fantastic environment. If you are a dog person? It's a must to add this place to your list“
“Nice chill tap room connected to a bike store. They serve a lot of Cerberus (which is next door) on draft which is great. Lots of indoor bike parking near the entrance. We went Monday evening and there were a few seats at the bar and a few tables (good for being the day after St Patrick’s). Bartender was nice and friendly, drinks were very good! I had the Scottish ale and would highly recommend. So glad to have these places in the neighborhood!“
“I held a brunch here for my friends and we loved this place! I was able to work easily with the staff to create a menu that suited some folks with dietary restrictions and provided a great experience for everyone there! The spacious dining area and ability to access so many different types of beverages was also a plus! We enjoyed our time here! I'd recommend for large groups as well as simple date nights!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available!“
“Great hidden gem for craft brew lovers. Cool, relaxing modern taphouse with a Great list of beers. Love the F&S Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout. Most pints are $5-$7. And 10oz pours $3-$4. Great place to chill with a brew and a friend.“
“This place is less busy than the main brewery and it’s hidden gem. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was nice and empty. I’m sure the owners are not too happy that it’s empty but for us craft lovers, it was bliss compared to the hectic Saturday nights that everybody’s used to. I hope they keep this location open for a good minute and I hope it doesn’t become overcrowded once it becomes discovered.“
“Nice place to have a beer, watch some football, and hang out with friends. Beer was great. It is a brewery, so if you are looking for other drinks, you may want to consider another establishment because their focus is good beer. The staff is very helpful making choices from their selection. I would drink beer here again.“
“Great brewery with fun beer options and delicious eats! With 12+ options on tap and a simple (very reasonably priced) one page menu this is a great spot to have a beer or two and some great food. Atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is very friendly. The food we had was super tasty and they had some great shareable options which is always nice in a brewery setting. Having the chance to sample drinks before you try is always appreciated! We came by twice in 3 days and it was a great experience both times! Definitely a fun spot to check out if you’re interested the area! The burrata is a must have!“
“Bristol brewing in Colorado Springs was a fantastic brewery experience. First of all, the building that Bristol brewing is housed in is a wonderful old school building that is beautiful and historic. The inside was well designed and was spacious so you don't feel cramped in, like some other brewers. All of the beers I have tried here have been great. Friendly staff.“
“I absolutely loved this taproom. Very fun theme going on in here. I got excellent service. I ordered a flight of four beers. I loved 3 of the 4. Wasn't too high on the Angel Feather brown ale. I highly recommend stopping in here for quality beer in a great atmosphere.“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our server Mayanna was fantastic! Beers were unique and delicious, atmosphere was inviting and food was delicious... Highly recommend the "We Believe in Nothing" Hefe and the Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese with Truffle Fries... And the Bacon Bites Small Plate.“

“We were seeking something new and stumbled across this gem on our excursion. Tucked in a beautiful church that originated in 1897 as the first African American church in Colorado Springs is The Carter Payne, bringing the same sense of community to its visitors. We were immediately greeted and staff explained how they were set up. It was brunch hour so we sat down to explore the menu. Around us, there were three bars-one for specialty cocktails, one for beer, and one for wine. Each offered unique options that I promise you can't find elsewhere. Food and most of the non-alcoholic options were at the table. We opted for a flight of mimosas, French press coffee and brunch. I had the arrachera and eggs. My husband had the monte cristo French toast plate. I subbed the tortilla with a biscuit because The Carter Payne has house made jam that I couldn't pass up. Our mimosa flight came out and it was perfection. A large bottle of champagne and a flight of four juices including grapefruit, orange, pineapple and cranberry. We started with that and out came our food. Both plates were beautifully put together-visually and flavor combinations were well thought out. The jams for the weekend were pear ginger and blueberry lemon. Both of these were absolutely bursting with flavor. The steak on the arrachera was lacking a little in the seasoning department and the biscuit was cold. The eggs were a little overcooked for me. Outside of those small things, this was an extremely positive experience. The art on the wall was awesome and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We will definitely be back!“
“Went last week for the first time, since I no longer live here. It was Bingo night and had a blast! Good selection of beer to choose from. I can't remember the name of the beer I had but it was excellent! The owner, Bill, and all the employees were very friendly. Clean and nicely decorated. The place was packed. Had a little 'Cheers' vibe. A lot of people know one another. They don't serve food but I guess there is normally a food truck, plus food nearby to order from. I will be going back and would highly recommend!“
“Brewery’s been brewing since 2013. They have an extensive list of brewed beers and a solid variety on tap. Met a few ofThe staff members and they are super nice and knowledgeable about not only their beers but also the beer community around Colorado Springs. Also happened to be here while they were brewing. Smells like heaven. Thanks guys, will be back to support yall some more in the future.“
“An amazing spot for beer, casual food, and a whiskey house with table service as well! I've been all over to some of the "Highest rated" breweries in the Springs and this place definitely has some better beers across the board, with their signature "Sticky Paws" taking the cake as the best signature beer for sure. The food truck was also great for some casual sandwiches and burritos. There's indoor and outdoor seating, as well and the whole place is family friendly. I wish it was a little further north and closer to the rest of the city, but it's definitely worth the drive!“
“We had a great dining experience. The food and service were excellent. The menu has a lot to offer food wise as well as a full bar. This restaurant is extremely clean as well as the restrooms. All in all, it is a great place, and we will most definitely be back. Highly recommend.“
“Came here for the first time yesterday. Nice place. Dog and kid friendly. The beer was great, we tested 8 different ones. I liked the raspberry one the best, light and crisp. They had a food truck (we didn't eat from it, but it smelled delicious).“
“I have been drinking beers for a while and tried a little bit of local fresh draft beers. This shop is among the top three of my list. The bitterness is well tuned, not too strong like some other taprooms and not like “plastic flavor” in bottle beers. The smoothness is amazing too.“
“Stopped by Trinity after visiting Garden of the Gods. We got 3 flights and tried a BUNCH of fun beers! I couldn't believe how many beers they had on tap! And a huge variety, along with that! We also got a bunch of appetizers to eat - the beer cheese soup with garlic pretzels, Brussels sprouts, zucchini fries, and fries. Everything was good, but the zucchini fries were the winner! The service was great and the ambiance was fun! I'd definitely go back!“
“This is an update since the 5 star reviewin summer of 2023:the last 2 times we have been since then (approx the past 6 months) there have been issues. The cheesecake sauce wasn't available and it's always been one of my favorite desserts in town. The cocktail I got was horrible and so sour I couldn't drink it (was told it was a new recipe). Which was out of the ordinary so we figured they were just having an off day. We met for a business lunch there last week and the whole lunch was kind of weird from the start. Our server was really intense and all over the place. She kept saying she'd bring more water and never did. When we ordered our food she forgot my business partner had already ordered his food because she got distracted taking to another coworker bringing out food, so he had to order again. When our food arrived she insulted the dressing that came with the beet salad and said she'd bring him something else. The chicken on the Japanese pancake was overcooked. And the fish and chips tasted good, however the shrinkflation was really awful. The price was still the same but the fish was at least 2/3 smaller than it used to be. They only gave me 4 teeny tiny fish sticks and way to many French fries to compensatefor the lack of fish. Definitely not worth it anymore. I got a cheesecake to-go because I couldn't get one the last time I was in. When I got to eat it later that evening, the cheesecake filling was the same thankfully, but the crust was thicker than usual which changed the flavor as a whole and the sauce was really off putting and tasted spoiled. Instead of a heavenly dessert I had a $10 piece of dissatisfaction.Summer 2023 review was 5 stars!Love the beer cheese soup. The Shepard pie was so yummy! And the cheesecake is to die for.Vegetarian options: They had veggie Shepards pie too.“
“My husband and I have been here plenty of times and we love it every time!!! There’s a beautiful view of the mountains from their outdoor patio! My favorite is the Fish and Chips, it’s a huge portion and so delicious! My husband is obsessed with the bison poppers!!! You could dress nice or chill, it’s a little bit of both!“
“Had reservations on Easter 3/31/24, was able to get in 1 hr earlier which was great! When I scheduled this appointment I indicated we were celebrating a birthday and nothing was done which was a little disappointing. Was very loud but food was amazing.“
“I usually don’t write reviews but felt like this young lady needed some recognition! Our server, Carley, was absolutely on top of things. Such a welcoming, bubbly personality! Our water always filled, her intuition on checking the table was spot on, everything done in a timely manner… definitely will be back, and hopefully sitting in Carley’s section.“
“Love being neighbors with these guys! A great addition to the downtown market of Colorado Springs. Looking forward to opening our luxury apartment homes 1/15/24, so our future residents are within walking distance to this amazing venue, plus so much more!!“
