Service and atmosphere make up for the lack of seasoning. Everything is cooked well but VERY bland. It’s a nice experience with a cute shop attached but I would bring my own sauce/seasoning packets if I were to return.
Definitely a place to check out. I would suggest the skillet fried chicken. Great crust, not over seasoned. We also had the chicken fried steak (Friday special) it was good but over seasoned for me, the chicken was definitely better. Our waiter was good, he really stayed i top of our refills. It's a pretty small place so definitely make reservations.

We visit this historic restaurant about once a year. The fried chicken is the Best around! The assorted sides are great, especially the riced potatoes w/ gravy and the biscuits. They offer unlimited food (within reason) and seasonal beverages and desserts.
