“We love El Korita! They are the best Mexican food truck in town hands down. It always hits the spot especially coming from California and being very picky when it comes to Mexican food. My husband always asks for his tripa extra crispy and they never fail at making it crispy and still keeping it savory. We come back quite often and are regular customers and they are always very kind. Definitely recommended!“
“Hands down THE BEST birria tacos in town!! Not exaggerating! We’ve tried a bunch of birria tacos around Colorado Springs (and Denver) These are the best we’ve had, there’s something so special and different about their consommé and they really fill up the tacos with meat.“
“Wow what a nice surprise finding this food truck!!! Best al pastor taco I have ever eaten. The owner prepared my food…scratch made tortilla and the ingredients were fresh. Super nice people. I was so impressed! I will drive to where ever they are at to try more of the menu!“
“I brought a group of 15 people for dinner and the amazing crew in the truck off Fillmore and Hancock took all the orders and filled them in 30 minutes! It was so fast and so good! I know several people, myself included, will be back for more! Gracias!!“
“This place is SEVERELY underrated. We started going here when it was a bit of a smaller establishment. The food had gotten even better since. The food is literally always fresh. A favorite of my family is the chicken wrap, bacon cheeseburger, and the quesabirria roll ups. The roll ups are probably the best thing on the menu. Fries are always well seasoned and crispy. Believe, it’s easy to mess up fries. This place gets it right, EVERY, SINGLE, TIME.“
“My boyfriend and I were craving some birria tacos and found this gem on Yelp. Let me just say...best tacos ever, and the horchata CHEFS KISS For chips, guac, two orders of the birria taco plate and two drinks...$38. Best Mexican food in the springs. If it were me, I'd come here rather than all the main stream restaurants.“
“Really good Mexican food. My husband just got back from Mexico and said it was very close to the real deal! It was quiet in there, just a soccer game on (muted), and so we could actually converse. It was nice and warm on a cold night. The tacos were great and they have a nice salsa bar with jalapenos and different salsas. How do you know it's authentic? When you can order beef intestine or pork belly tacos. We didn't order those, but the tacos we did order were great!Dietary restrictions: Tacos are served on double corn tortillas, so I think that was pretty gluten free!Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu.... Limited but there!“
“We’ve been coming here, regularly a little more than a month now and it’s always a great time. The service is excellent, no matter the night. The crowd is great and we love getting to know the regulars. Kudos! We’ll be back again and again!“
“Small shop with about 12 chairs (?) at two tables. Plenty of additional seating outside under string lights when weather allows. Wonderful food! I had a tasty grilled chicken enchilada with chilis, beans, rice, avocado and sour cream, all of which seem to be made fresh in house. Full of flavor! The shop also has a few rows of groceries and an absolutely AMAZING meat market. It's not an elegant place but a welcoming place that provides a bit of an ethnic experience. Loved it and we'll be back soon!“
“Holy smokes….this was the best meal I’ve had in a very long time!!! The restaurant is tiny. No reservations, but super worth any wait time! When you’re first perusing the menu, you’ll want one of everything because it all sounds so scrumptious! Get one of everything. Get anything. You can’t go wrong! We had the Island, Guava Lava, Yucatán, and chimi shrimp tacos, Cubano & smoked pork loin sandwiches, & the chicken sofrito empanadas…. All amazing!! Flavor on flavor on flavor!! We left PigLatin food drunk. I often dream about PigLatin at night. This will be our first stop if ever we return to Colorado Springs!“
“They are always quick to welcome you when you walk in. When you're seated, they immediately bring a basket of warm, homemade tortilla chips (really good!), a bowl of medium salsa and a bowl of refried beans. They also have mild salsa. You just need to ask for it. I imagine they also have a hot salsa, but I haven't tried it.The restaurant looks clean and there are cute little succulents at every table. The food is good. They have a large menu and are good with substitutions.Vegetarian options: I know they have at least a couple vegetarian items. My brother always orders a vegetarian burrito. I haven't looked at the menu specifically for vegetarian items, but there are also cheese enchiladas, chile rellenos, quesadillas, bean burritos, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have handicapped parking spaces right by the front door and a ramp to the front door. There are tables that are wheelchair accessible. I don't remember noticing a button to open the front door, but there probably is one.“
“We moved here from Texas one week prior to eating here, I had this place marked on Google maps for a month prior. GREAT DECISION.I had beef, pork, chicken, and beef tongue tacos. I added jalapenos, carrots, the guac sauce, and the hottest sauce. The beef, tongue, and chicken tacos were very good... but the pork taco was amazing. The hottest sauce was some of the best I've eaten in a taco shop.I don't know if the man working the floor was the owner or the manager, but he was all about friendliness (without crowding us) and was constantly working to keep the place clean and neat.My wife and her parents enjoyed he not so hot versions of what they ate, and we all plan to return. The decor is nice, and the only dig we had was that because the shop is fairly small, they have to utilize booths and 2-top tables. Booths are terrible for someone with bad knees... but that's my issue. Like I said, we will go back.“
“The food? Delicious. The service? Quick. The price? Affordable. Eating out is getting pretty expensive these days, so if I can feed my family of 3 with less than $50, then I jump on the deal. I highly recommend the birria quesadilla. Super good.“
“I went through drive-through this evening, so I can’t speak to the atmosphere on the interior. I can say that the employee that assisted me with lovely. She was super friendly and very kind. My food was superb! The best Carne Asada burrito I’ve ever had!! Without a doubt it was fantastic, and I will be back. Thank you!“
“Grab a breakfast burrito and some of their hot salsa if you like real spice. No matter what time of day we visit, their food has always been excellent and the staff friendly. Real Mexican food from great people. They have plenty of parking and seating or a drive-through if you need to hut the road. Portions are large and flavorful.“
“Good Sombrero burger!Parking: Kinda hard to get to, south and east entrance,s closed had to inter on west side of street but it was Werth itKid-friendliness: Table,s for kids plenty, they tables outside if that's what you likeWheelchair accessibility: Chairs can be moved so wheels can be assigned there“
“Backstory, I have lived in the Springs for 4 years and Sergio may be the best restaurant owner I’ve met in Colorado Springs. He is so genuine and wants to make his customers experience no less than excellent. His hospitality is unparalleled and his goal is to make you feel like family.“
“Simple order of two crunchy ground beef tacos with a side of guac TOTALLY hit the spot at lunch! Packed full of fresh ingredients and only $7. Red and green hot sauces are soooo good. Used to work downtown and ate her A LOT. I remember DEELISH breakfast burritos as big as your forearm. ?“
“You are missing out if you don’t visit the el Paisa taco truck. No comparison. Hands down the BEST Mexican food! Real food! Real flavor! Real Good! Every Friday night I go to the south east corner of circle and airport cuz that’s where el PAISA is! Can’t get enough! Their barbacoa is always awesome. Been coming for a long time and every time it’s the best! Consistently Fantastic. And they are fast too! Makes my mouth water just writing this review! Seriously my favorite place to get food!!“
“Oh my God, I have to say that this is the best street tacos i've had probably in my entire life. The portion sizes are a lot bigger than you would expect. The food has an amazing flavor that just explodes with every bite. Isaac is super friendly and very eager to satisfy your hunger needs an earn your business! I guarantee you will be repeat customer. I highly recommend you stopping by, you won't regret it!!!“
