“The people who participated in karaoke were super enthusiastic and supportive of each other. I've been to many karaoke bars and have never seen as many creative people get up and do impromptu singing and dance numbers. There was no app to download to sign up to sing, which to me was preferable. Instead, the karaoke host and DJ was available and made it easy to request to be added to the list of singers. He sang well too - this is how we do it got a good sized group of revelers up and onto the dance floor. There are also pool tables and darts available. I highly recommend this tavern for anyone seeking a lively, unpretentious place to have a fun evening out in the Lakewood and Wheat Ridge area.“

The food is absolutely incredible and on point every time. We’ve had gorditas, tortas, tacos, birria- it’s always perfect! The condiment bar has ( too spicy for me) incredible salsas, cucumbers, radishes, and jalapenos. It’s no frills, but clean as a whistle and is always busy- so you know it’s great! Please support this incredible business- it would kill me to loose them! The atmosphere is usually a 5/5, but this summer, there have been A/C issues and they have been using a mobile swamp cooler. It's great on milder days (temps < 90). But with temps consistently in the 90s-100s this summer, the swamp cooler has struggled to keep things comfortable. Hoping the owner invests in repairing the HVAC soon.“
