“I wouldn't call these tacos made as much as curated. The owner has pride and makes sure each taco is well made. We had the vegan and chicken tacos and were impressed.... I don't often follow food trucks but I will be following this one!

“Restaurant is at a great venue. We loved staying at the Origin. The food and drinks were great. They were out of tortilla chips, which is sort of different for a Mexican restaurant. Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way.  it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience. “

“Not impressed with this new manager. Pre prepped portions of cheese sauce large enough and pre mixed with the meat! What if I didnt want the MEAT? Which I did not want!“

“And interesting mix of self-serve and table service. You make your order at the counter, they give you a number, and then bring your main meal to you. Drinks are served separately at the same counter and you have to walk back for them yourself.

The food is great. Each time I have been here I have got the something different and I always liked what they served.

The drinks are also very good, with the house margarita being a favorite!“

Headed your way tomorrow for my boyfriends birthday. The Mexican street corn, spot on. Rellenos also outstanding. Go to place for casual, great food and atmosphere.“

“Honestly, totally unexpected. I ended up getting their birria grill cheeses with the mango habanero hot sauce. I thought the price was a bit steep when I first purchased it but after getting the food, it’s a huge sandwich. The meat is prepared perfectly. The cheese is the right portion and the Texas toast was toasted just right. Definitely a spot, I will return to the next time I’m in the area.“

“The people who participated in karaoke were super enthusiastic and supportive of each other. I've been to many karaoke bars and have never seen as many creative people get up and do impromptu singing and dance numbers. There was no app to download to sign up to sing, which to me was preferable. Instead, the karaoke host and DJ was available and made it easy to request to be added to the list of singers. He sang well too - this is how we do it got a good sized group of revelers up and onto the dance floor. There are also pool tables and darts available. I highly recommend this tavern for anyone seeking a lively, unpretentious place to have a fun evening out in the Lakewood and Wheat Ridge area.“
