“This is a very humble and unassuming little store front eatery. Please do not forego for this reason. Once you step inside you will be greeted by a lovely couple of ladies. One of them an elder lady who is so loving and so happy and excited you are there. I highly recommend the traditional breakfast with two eggs, refried black beans, cheese and sour cream to complement the fried plantains. This takes me to my childhood instantaneously. Eating here feels like eating at my grandmother's home sitting at a table in the kitchen, very nostalgic for me. These ladies are amazing hosts and love what they do. Came in 25 minutes before close, he was enthusiastic about the kitchen willing to cook me up a fajita bowl. The bowl is a solid 8.4… Hit the spot. I would definitely go back to this place again when we stay here next year.

BONUS… they obviously have decent bar set up and have dehydrated fruits as garnishes. My 2 year old daughter wanted some of the fruit. He totally hooked her up and gave her a water too. Very impressed. And I am hard to impress, I think?

“This may be the best food (overall) that I’ve ever had in Colorado so far, and the BEST tacos by a landslide. Whoever is making the food at this place is surpassing any and every other *good* taco spot I’ve ever tried. The steak and chicken tacos were so perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy - not doused in hot sauce or something spicy to cover up the flavors of real food made well… This is the work of a true chef and/or someone who has many layers of knowledge on how to marinade and season Mexican food to bring out the most vibrant and delicious flavors. Nothing is greasy, the meat isn’t rubbery or overcooked or skimpy portions. Everything is just the right portion (slightly larger than street tacos, so you don’t have to order 4 to feel full and get your money’s worth, 1-2 tacos with chips and queso or guac is plenty to feel happy with). Everything was incredibly fresh as well, including everything in the tacos, salsa, guacamole, tortillas. I would eat these tacos every day if I could.

It’s a bit of a small space, but exceptionally clean. Like… spotless, in the kitchen and in the dining areas and restrooms. Service was great. Not too loud, like most places that are blasting music - which was much more pleasant to the nervous system. Always appreciate low volume, chill environment to feel relaxed. “Stopped in for a breakfast burrito with my husband. We ended up trying that and a few other items. The breakfast burritos were amazing. Perfectly crisp bacon and ratio of fillings. Plus a house made tortilla was just the icing on the cake. Next we tried the quesabirria taco. Hands down best thing I’ve eaten in a while. Last thing we had was the churros. I got a dulce de leche filling and my husband got just regular churros. They were both so delicious and freshly made. Everything was just so delicious we will definitely be back again.“
