“Booked Taco Block for a pre-wedding party for 36 people. Could not have been happier with the entire event! Fantastic night.Team arrived exactly when planned. We couldn't use the truck because of our rental agreement, but Adrien's team of 3 quickly set up a heating and serving station inside, and were ready to rock before the final guest arrived.Adrien brought MORE food than we ordered because we booked so far in advance, giving our guest extra choices of their outstanding tacos. Food was great! Perfect serving sizes, and more than enough extra for seconds, thirds, and even breakfast leftovers! They even surprised us with bonus quesadillas which were SO GOOD! Wrapped everything up with warm churros and ice cream with a caramel sauce. I'm not a dessert lover, but I gobbled these up before the ice cream had time to melt.Summary: Perfect timing, wonderful service, great food, and more value than I could have hoped for. 36 happy customers! Made the event such a wonderful memory, and couldn't have been easier.Thank you Adrien and the Taco Block team!“
“Not at all what it used to be like when I was younger! They have totally reinvented themselves an, , in my opinion are (other then decades of service at this caliber under their belt) dare I say it on par with the big boys these days (Mc Ducks, Toxic-Hell & Dave Thomas and Daughter Inc Etc. !? I had the new Egg and sausage bagel that tasted remarkably just like the one McDucks used to have! I loved it when they had it, too..It's totally worth the extra effort to give it a try if the opportunity presents itself!! I mean, don't take my opinion as the Gospel or anything. '-]☆-( real names have been changed to protect other parties any simultaneously to real people/businesses are purely coincidentiel. But I'm sure you can figure out who I'm talking about!! )Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.“
“By far the best restaurant in Denver. From the moment you walk in you're welcomed by an incredibly well trained front of house staff, while the open concept kitchen and intimate atmosphere allow the kitchen staff and Chef Michael to interact with the guests in a completely unpretentious manner, creating an all encompassing experience from start to finish. Each dish is beautifully composed and thoughtful, some may call it 'tweezer' food, but this tweezer food has heart, has soul. It's modern and innovative but taste like comfort, invites you to savor each bite and leaves you wanting for the next. While the food is memorable on it's own, the cocktail and wine pairings are not to be ignored, both options are incredible, and listening to the artists that pick and craft these libations explain their thought process is akin to listening a storyteller around a fire, immersive and brilliant. An absolute experience from start to finish that I'm always honored to be apart of.“
“Super inviting staff & the food was amazing. Fresh tortillas, fresh veggies and amazing meat. The machete taco was straight ?. The Birria was amazing as well. Last but not least was the Horchata, It was off the chain with the hint of coconut. A must try!!Parking: Must try!“
“Hands down, the best choice I made upon arriving in Denver was coming to this place. Michelle had the most welcoming vibe and made me want to move to Denver officially, lol.No joke, this place has delicious food, great service and outstanding energy!Run to The Maison“
“Everything about this spot is phenomenal. Have tried all the tacos now and each has been top notch. Fresh chips, solid guac/queso. Tasty dranks and their happy hour goes longer/later than most. Service has been extremely friendly and quick at the bar each time.“
“Food was next level, apps were good, tacos were all delicious and had a great balance of flavor, drinks were unique and yummy, and the churros were the best I've ever had, outside seating was a little dark and the seating uncomfortable. Kitchen was busy so it took a bit for us to get our food. Most expensive taco to quantity I've had, but the quality is top notch.“
“This place is 100% worth the trip while in Denver. They let us know beforehand that the wait was 45 minutes for food after ordering, but it ended up being much less. The staff was very friendly and helpful. THE TACOS AND HORCHATA WERE INCREDIBLE. My only concern was that there isn't a ton of seating, but that's because so many people are coming though because the food is SO GOOD!“
“Got to VIB in Denver last night. Stopped up to McDevitt Taco Supply roof top restaurant and bar. Happy hour was in progress. Sampled 4 different tacos. All excellent bursts of flavor. And the MTS staff and owners are excellent. This is what a first class experience is supposed to be.“
“This has to be one of the best taco places in Colorado, and you can’t beat 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays! Don’t forget to add your own toppings before heading out, too! The pastor is INCREDIBLE and the tortillas are so fresh. 12/10 recommend this place!“
“My fiance brought me here after a Google search and it's some of the best Mexican food we can get in Denver. Plus it is really affordable so we are able to leave a bigger tip. Our son loved it too. Only complaint is salsa was very very spicy for our taste but it's still delicious, so I don't mind at all! Gonna come back here a lot from now on! It was super busy and they are open until 10pm, we went around 7:30pm.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available for several menu itemsKid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“I cannot express how happy I am that this delicious spot popped up 1/2 mile from my house. :) We have been there twice in three days! The food is outstanding and the service is exceptional! I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.“
“Food was pretty good. Their new order and pay system has some issues and takes getting used to, but for the most part it works. We got the trio (wish it had queso, salsa and quac instead of two salsas and quac), and 6 tacos: duck x2, spicy chicken, pork belly, salmon and chorizo. They were just ok. Nothing really stood out and the duck wasn't that great. Pork belly is always my favorite.Parking: This area is always extremely busy. Go early or expect to drive around a lot or park a mile away!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy sidewalk to entry access“
“It's hard to overstate how important this truck is to me. I make plans with my friends, they ask me to bring them to Tacos Pachuco. When I go to a gas station, I take out cash just so I have it on hand for Tacos Pachuco. I come about once a week, and the entire time I've been doing it, Tacos Pachuco has delivered exactly what I am craving, every single time. The service is as fast as it needs to be. The atmosphere is a parking lot on Washington. The staff are friendly, the food is second to none. I would travel miles for these tacos, and in the future I probably will. Thank you for the food, Tacos Pachuco.“
“This authentic taco shop is a hidden gem! The vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients make each taco a taste sensation. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh tortillas, every detail is a testament to their commitment to authenticity making it a must-try for taco enthusiasts.“
“Muy buenos y buen precio!!Parking: Múltiple parkings and they sell tacos as well. They have a lot of space, usually they have seating but not when it’s cold.Kid-friendliness: She’s the best veryyyy talkitive so friendly. This lady is amazing! I had a good time talking to the lady.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s in a parking lot so you can access the area easily“
“The food was very tasty. We shared the nachos, which changed with every layer you uncovered. I then had the birria tacos, and my friend had the steak burrito. I was so full from the nachos that I had to take most of my taco meal home for later. Just as yummy reheated! Margaritas are on the tart side but tasty. We got there just as they opened, so it was pretty empty, but I bet they fill up the place regularly. It would be a great summer patio spot. Decor was very attractive. Service was great, very attentive.“
“Absolutely delicious food and aguas frescas. The Birria and tacos are phenomenal. I'm fairly certain the tortillas are either made in house, or ordered in fresh daily. The salsa selection is relatively good. Definitely some decent flavors of salsas and plenty of options for everyone. I particularly like the dark red guajillo salsa, though it is most definitely not for the faint of heart. The Horchata and Hibiscus aguas frescas are home made with amazing flavor. The serving sizes are no joke, either. I'm estimating about 32oz of fluid serving. This is some of the best and most authentic Mexican food anywhere in Colorado. I drive from COS almost daily and stop by this place almost as often. The only issues I've ever experienced have been with order accuracy. But, only a few times and far between.“
“I wouldn't call these tacos made as much as curated. The owner has pride and makes sure each taco is well made. We had the vegan and chicken tacos and were impressed.... I don't often follow food trucks but I will be following this one!Vegetarian options: He asked before adding cheese to the vegan. Thanks!“
“This place is amazing super friendly service, great prices and your food is made to order not left sitting around under a heat lamp so there might be a small waiting time but worth it. “pro tip” this is a cash only business, so hit the ATM before you go.“
“The food here is genuinely incredible! I had the chicken taquitos which sit in puréed beans and queso topped with crema, cotija cheese, pico, lettuce and pickled onions. The queso is DELICIOUS! The flavor combo was perfect and the service and staff were great. We will definitely be back for more!“
“I had a great time at this place. I brought my vegan friend here and she was happy with the selections. Our waiter was amazing and so on point. Service was really great here. The biggest downside to me was the chairs (bar stools).Vegetarian options: They have a vegan celebration this JanuaryParking: Street parking“
“Best service ever!!!!.....I was craving a chicken tostada which is not on the menu, the owner went above and beyond and made me 2 chicken tostadas, they were so good. They should definitely add it to the menu. Thank you Huequito for going the extra mile to make your customers happy!!!...Beat Food Ever!!!!“
“Absolutely tasty. I dropped by here because I was working across the street. Grabbed a carne asada burrito which came with a side of tomatillo sauce. While I waited (what had to be two minutes) I was given two barbacoa tacos to try. Both were great (the "red" meat tasted better to me).The burrito was significantly smaller than I would have imagined (maybe my only complaint). It comes with peppers and beans. I opted for no beans which might have contributed to its thinness. But it was still very tasty and only cost me $10.If I had anything to say, I would say to throw some white rice into the burrito to give it more substance. The taste was absolutely great and my mouth is still tingling from the heat after about 15 minutes.Other reviews mentioned the cleanliness of the truck... they weren't wrong. The truck was incredibly clean inside and out. Staff were very friendly. I'll be back even if I have to drive out of my way.“
“The food here is absolutely delicious! Make sure to get the birria tacos with the cheese and consumme at least once, life changing. The parking lot of a head shop on a busy road isn't my favorite dining location, but it is well worth it for anything and everything from this place.“
“Little food truck with great tacos and burritos. Extremely great value. Because of its popularity and small cart, expect to spend some time waiting. Last time the wait from getting in line to receiving food was 40 minutes. If you are ok with waiting, can’t beat it!“
“Tasty traditional 3" street tacos with lots of meat options. Other food options too. Good selection of beverages. Exactly what you'd expect from a Latin food truck - delicious food.Usually a wait but it isn't long - good place for a quick bite.Located at the east side of the Park Hill Supermarket parking lot.“
“A nice place to go and unwind with coworkers or friends. We go to play pool and get some appetizers like the BASKET OF GOODIES; they have only 2 tables so be patient if that is why you are there.Parking: Small parking lot fills up fast. Some street parking is available you may have to look.“
“Got the Quesabirrias... it's a HUGE! I should have gotten half since it was only me. There are four big tacos. Very tasty! A little pricier than I expected but it will make 2-3 meals for me!!Parking: The food "trailer-truck"is parked in another business' lot. They do have a plastic table and chairs if you don't want to wrestle the food in you vehicle.“
“I really enjoyed the carne asada tacos and carne asada torta. It was fresh and flavorful. There's a large parking lot in the back. The lady taking the order was nice and spoke English. The service was pretty quick. I was there on an early Saturday so it was quiet and chill when I went. Would go back if I'm ever in the area.“
“We popped in for a quick bite and everything was DELICIOUS! Sam was awesome and provided us with excellent recommendations. I tried the queso and it was great, my 7 year old will definately eat it next time we visit. We love to try Brussel sprouts when we try new restaurants and these were THE BEST! Will absolutely recommend and will be back 1000%Thanks so much Sam!“
“Sonny’s is a lovely hidden gem in this neighborhood. Delicious food, well made drinks and wonderful service to top it off.The owner makes you feel at home and treats you like family, Joy at the bar makes sure your drink is never empty. The tacos, and food are local and well made, and thought out. We will continue to frequent this lovely place. Get the Hawaiian tacos and the wings- you won’t regret it.“
“I like the food here the pretzels with cheese are yummy as well as the nachos. Only critique of this place is the hostesses never know when happy hour is. The last two times I went the hostess said happy hour was over before the time that was reflected on the website. Then I ask my waiter and they say it’s still happy hour. Super weird but this has happened the last two times idk if they’re trying to save a buck or what“
“Found this place while I was out doing door dash. The only disappointment I have is that I didn't find this place sooner. The tacos are packed with meat and flavor at a reasonable price. I recommend ordering the pastor and asada tacos ? .“
“A very great place with great food, generous portions, and patient service. Speak some English but spanish proffered.Vegetarian options: My dad's avoiding meat and they put something together for him.Kid-friendliness: No alcohol or loud obnoxious TVs and friendly service.“
“Some of the best Mexican food of my life! I really enjoyed the asada burrito. The green salsa was to die for with an extra kick. The popusa was fluffy, hot, cheesy, and made with love. You won’t regret trying this delicious street food! ?“
“Go for the beeritas!! The food is not what will keep you coming back.Packed tonight. Great customer service, they rotate the menu quite frequently for beeritas and added new items to the food menu, but got rid of the red beans, and that's a bummer to me. Will always be a quick and easy choice!“
“AMAZING! I just cannot get over how delicious & amazing this food truck is. And they have camarone tacos?!?! Not many do & it’s delicious!! I love that they give you cucumbers, asada, & lime on the side too! I will definitely be back. Thank you for the delicious food! Made my week :)“
“A dive among dives. Came here for karaoke on Friday (they do karaoke every night, Weds-Sun per their signs). We got there early to grab a table (karaoke started at 9). Drinks are strong and cheap. I think our drinks were like...$6 or $7 each. The tables all have leather-y rolly chairs which are comfortable, but the wheels don't quite fit between/next to the table legs, so you're frequently kind of sticking out from your table and almost hitting people near you. But still comfy chairs. Karaoke started promptly at 9 with the host singing the first tune to get things started. The other host takes your name/song title and was very friendly. They have a list of who's up next on the screen so you can keep an eye out, but they also announce when it's your turn. Music is not painfully loud and the microphone was not screeching like it sometimes does at other places. Had a fun time there with some friends, but I would only go there for karaoke. It wouldn't necessarily be my vibe for just 'hanging' out on another night.“
“I was visiting Denver recently and I stumbled upon this taco spot and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the quesobarria which is new to the menu! I loveeeeed it!!! The flavors were bold and fresh! The staff was nice and friendly and they were fast and efficient! I wished I lived here just to get their food on a regular! I definitely recommend it’s so good!!“
“Good food. Fairly fast. Liked Gordita and smothered burrito alot. Fair to average price.Vegetarian options: Yes they substituted meat for Beans.Parking: Lots of parking around the side of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair parking. Flat parking lot“
“It's easy to know why this place is so highly rated---give it a try. I was traveling through the area and stopped in. It's not fancy at all, but the food was fantastic. I ordered the Plato de Flautas de Pollo, which I highly recommend! In addition to the outstanding food, they also have an extensive salsa bar. Food was great, service was fast and staff was friendly!“
“Wow! I spent a lot of time researching the best tacos for catering in our area. I ultimately decided to use E Hijole Tacos and Catering for my son's graduation party of about 65 people, and it was a HUGE success! Elena was so lovely and kind. What a talented chef! She was extremely helpful in deciding our menu and how many guests to plan for. She was readily available for questions and quickly addressed any of my concerns. She communicated well throughout the entire process. She made the entire planning process stress free. She and her husband, Frank arrived on time to set up. They were personable and excited about their food. Rightfully so! It was delicious! Fresh and so very tasty! It was a hit with everyone who attended our party! Many went back for seconds and thirds! I highly recommend Elena and her delicious E Hijole tacos. Our party was a great celebration and they shared in making it so very memorable!“
“My husband threw a surprise 40th birthday here and it was so much fun. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were amazing, and the tacos were delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make the day special. The ice shots were probably my favorite though!“
“This is now my favorite taco in Denver. I go here at least once a week for lunch. The barbacoa, al pastor, bistec.....anything you choose will be amazing. It's also super quick and the prices are amazing. I can't think of another place where you can get a fully stuffed street taco for $3.....I usually only need two for lunch.“
“We love going to this place, the food is incredible ?& everyone who works there is nice & helpful. ?We placed a large order the other night & it turned out great. We will go to them for catering again for sure! The 36 tacos we ordered were eaten to fast, I failed to get a pic of those!Kid-friendliness: They have coloring books, crayons, diaper changing station, high chairs & kid friendly staff“
