“This is our go to place for tacos. Everything on the menu is delicious. Tacos estilo jalisco is one of our favorite. Staff is awesome! Very friendly and they always make sure we get plenty of their delicious salsas. You gotta be a little patient though they are busy most of the time so waiting time is a little long but worth it.“

“Love this place: the staff and atmosphere, but it's really expensive for Mexican food on Colfax, and some items are oddly favorless... I think they specialize in certain things (like the mole and tacos?), while other dishes are bland. A family of two adults and one kid racked up a $75 tab after tip! We ordered only one margarita (which was primarily ice) and it was $14. I hope this place can stick around, its cute, but would hesitste to go here when there are tastier and more affordable options around.“

“I arrived at this restaurant for the first time on Sunday 12-28-2025. I googled for breakfast burritos, and this restaurant came up. The name that they use is Aguas Calientes. The place was clean inside and very well decorated. I ordered some breakfast burritos from a gorgeous latina woman with a friendly and very courteous attitude. (I am sure she is of Mexican descent) My Mom and sister and I enjoyed these delicious breakfast burritos that were only $2.50 each. One burrito was enough for me. I bought two for me, and I ate the other one for supper. I am so ecstatic to find this place. I will go back very soon for lunch or for supper.“

“I’ve been going to Casa Bonita since I was a kid and continued the tradition with my kids. I love how with the re-opening they have kept little nods to the past for nostalgia sake while adding in new and fun features as well. Yes, you pay $40/meal (in the evenings) but you’re staying there 2-3 hours afterwards to experience things like the puppet and illusion shows, tarot card reader, wishing well fun, the arcade and Black Bart’s cave. The menu has been updated and we all loved our food(but we do miss those cheese enchiladas, haha). The service was really fast, too. You’re paying not only for a meal but also for the experience!“
