Best Mexican food I've had in Colorado hands down and I've been here for a while. The flavors are there, the meat is juicy, the salsa is actually spicy and it's all got a home made taste to it, and I definitely recommend coming here!

Taqueria el Palenque, located in a converted subway, offers flavorful tacos like asada and El pastor. While the carnitas were slightly dry and the barbacoa a bit fatty, the cookies for dessert were enjoyable. The chili cheese fries were tasty but seemed oily. For some of the best Birria Tacos, head to the back of the restaurant where the lovely owner and staff provide excellent service. Support local businesses over chains at this real deal spot.
