One of the last places that still brings you a round of chips and salsa on the house. Chips were good, still warm. Salsa is tangy and mild. Had the traditional chili rellenos. Rice and beans on the platter were both very good! The rellenos were flat; mostly browned egg, not much batter. I asked for the hot green chili, but it was not even the slightest bit hot or spicy. Read the reviews and decided to stop in without any hesitation. Late afternoon on a Friday and already had many full booths and tables with couples and families with their children as we walked in. The hostess greeted me with the most genuine smile and welcome in and as we walked past other diners, had a quick friendly chat with someone. I often come here for lunch on weekdays, I LOVE their lunch special and the restaurant is always really clean, the staff is excellent and treats me with respect. Highly recommend!!!
