this place resides in a church, so beware of sunday busies. it’s got plenty of seating, both comfy and work desky. i came in on a Wednesday at 12pm and it was not busy at all. i don’t expect a lot at coffee shops, but there are certain things that make me rather…sad :(i came in and the guy working there didn’t greet me in, no biggie. but when we did speak to me it seemed rather cold. he just asked what i wanted, no smile (i wanted to flee away) and the order was very quick and abrupt. i feel like at local coffee shops the interaction you have with the barista is one of the charming and inviting parts about it. if i didn’t care about that aspect, i would be sitting at a starbucks right now. but anywaysss i didn’t much mind but then he brought out my latte in a kfnqndowj to-go cup. my man :/ you have for here cups literally on top of your espresso machine. no latte art? no passion? no love for the craft of making the coffee?? bro making me cry. so i take the coffee to my seat and give it a lil sippy sip. rich, smooth, comforting, delightful. it’s very good espresso. comes in only 12oz. and! i look around and there are people with lattes in ceramic mugs ? i just—ugh i wished he could have put it in a for here cup so that i could instagram it, put in a good review. yikes, i think it was just a combination of little things that made me bummed. i’d only come back for the taste of espresso. p.s. parking is vast

This coffee shop is delightful. I enjoyed the latte with almond milk and lemon seed poppy muffin. Barista was quick and did a great job explaining the difference in two drinks I asked about. Plenty of seating and Im always glad when there isn't loud music playing. Great ambiance.

Great coffee but be aware that this is in a church/worship center. I wasn’t expecting that when I pulled into the parking lot. It’s a wonderful space but if that’s not your energy then it might not be a great fit.

1979 is a great little coffee nook!Drinks were great quality and very tasty.Price was average for a coffee shop!Atmosphere was cozy and quiet.Service was quality and kind. This would be a great place to get work done or even for a coffee date.Definitely worth visiting again!

I was doing laundry close by and this nice spot and needed the nectar of life. Closest place is this coffee joint. So ive never been before. Have to try it out. When I got there in the parking lot it was a bit confusing. Buildings didnt look like a coffee spot. Come to find out its attached to a church building. Cool. I go inside with my SA and the place is huge. Tons of seating. Everyone there seemed happy. Coffee was great. Staff was nice. Definitely need more places like this in the world. Plus having Jesus there with you on your coffee break is pretty cool.
