Allusion Cocktail Bar (Downtown)

Have been coming to themed nights for a while now. I enjoy the atmosphere that Allusion provides. Their drinks are creative and fun in presentation and taste great. I very much appreciate their mocktail and non alcoholic options.

This was the first time we attended the brunch and we had a great time. Looking forward to future brunch events

I love a good speakeasy. We originally expected to walk into a Harry Potter themed bar but instead stumbled upon Shrek as the theme had changed. The menu is very creative! They do a good job of having items to suit all visitors.

Absolutely delightful experience! We went to the new Shrek theme and loved it. We’ve been going for the past few years and have never been disappointed, always so creative and tasty!
Would love to see a Twilight theme, especially for fall!

A great experience tho they tend toward the Harry Potty themes too often. Would love to see more Star Wars, Star Trek, BSG themes.

What a fun and unique experience. The decor was fantastic. It transported you right into the world of Harry Potter. Every inch was on point. We tried 4 different drinks and each and every one was delicious and unique to the theme. The food theme was fun but just average in taste during this experience.

Maximus was super welcoming, great drink recommendations- Hannah was our server at allusion, super sweet and knew her way around the menu!

We were seated at the couch in the very back corner so we had the view of the back of the chairs at the bar, I asked to move to a table so that we could enjoy the the experience was told no- even though tables were available. An hour in another couple was seated on the couch next to us , they asked to move and immediately got moved to a table. The waiter apologized to us , but what good is that? We didn’t really get an experience because we weren’t in the main area . And…, we still tipped well for a bad experience.

The Beetlejuice theme (Sept 2024) was soooo much fun and the themed cocktails and food were on point!
It is only by a miracle that we were walking by (before 5pm on a Friday) and thought to stop in and ask if there was a possibility of getting a table without a reservation. They were able to accommodate a table of 4 for an hour and we were so thankful for it.
Our out of town guests had a great time and it created some great photo memories!!

Enjoy going here with friends or even a date night. Some of themes lack a little, bit others are pretty spectacular. Food is never a disappointment either!
