The food was delicious. Best Hawaiian BBQ I've probably ever had. I got he BBQ mix and my husband got the chicken teriyaki plate. We ordered to go but will likely visit in the future.

My partner brought home takeout from this place and the spam musubis were so good ? the pork ramen was okay. I understand that to-go soup isn’t always on point, but this was my experience.

First time I went into this restaurant since it change from the Chinese restaurant. They really changed the inside of the place, updated it, nicely done inside the lobby. I got a recommendation from the lady that was on the counter as it is my first time in here since Chinese restaurant was there prior. Took the food home and had it at my place, the food was outstanding. I had the Hawaiian dish rice macaroni salad three types of marinated barbecue meat . With some cooked cabbage laying underneath. It all tasted great. They gave me plenty of food, well flavored. I don't know if you guys have been to this place yeah I recommend people trying it out it's right across the street from Monica's restaurant on Fillmore between Cascade and Nevada

This place is great. I'm so glad to find authentic Hawaiian food so far inland!

The flavor of the food was good and the portions are a good size. However, we were expecting Hawaiian food, what we got was more like Chinese food.
Do not recommend this place if you're wanting Hawaiian food

I went here and ordered food for $77 plus a $16 tip. Part of this was 2 large orders of macaroni salad. They give you your food in takeout bags that are tied up, so you can't really check them before you go.
When I got home, instead of the macaroni salad I had ordered, they had given me steamed rice costing $17. I could have made the same amount of rice at home for about $1, so figure in a restaurant it would have been $4 or $5 of rice. Rice is not expensive.
Nevertheless, I was very clear about ordering the macaroni salad, and I even asked her to show me the difference between the large and the small size, which she did, so she knew I was ordering macaroni salad. The guy who packaged the order together was also standing right there.
When I called, many times, it just went to voicemail. They have a web site but no e-mail. No fax. No one returned my calls or did anything to make it right.
I don't mind mistakes, but I do mind very much when they don't do anything to fix them. I would have taken the correct order or a credit at the restaurant or a refund. Instead, I got $17 of rice.
