We sat outside by the river and it was really nice, their food was good and the employees were attentive and nice. It also wasn't very expensive which was really nice

This was my favorite place to go for my birthday, special occasions and when we had family in from out of town. The last few times we've went though its been a bad experience. The food quality has gone down, the staff doesn't seem interested in coming around to check on people and although its not really their fault the prices have gone way up. Our last visit left me upset. We came in at 6:45pm and they close at 9pm. We were meeting up with my sister and her husband who came in from out of town and they hadn't seen our daughter in months. We finished eating around 7:45pm and were catching up. Around 8pm we noticed that they had turned off the lights and put up the chairs on the tables in every other part of the restaurant except where we were sitting. It was a clear hint that they wanted us out so we left around 8:15pm.... even though they close at 9pm like I said. After we went outside to say our goodbyes we looked back and they had turned the lights back on since we had finally left. Extremely rude. I even gave our server a really good tip but to be treated like we were holding them up from going home when there was still another hour to be open is unacceptable. You lost a loyal customer cause im not coming back after that.

Sitting on the porch, next to a creek with the best Mexican food ever. Did not disappoint! So good the first time, we had to try it a second time.

It is truly an authentic Mexican place that we stumbled upon while visiting Pikes Peak, Colorado. With their patio dining by the creek and trees, impressive menu, delicious food and wonderful service, this place is my #1 Mexican restaurant away from home

Amanda's used to be one of our favorite destinations when visiting the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs area but it has really slipped in the past couple of visits. When we arrived we waited so long to be seated my wife finally went to go find someone. And the food quality just isn't the same; the prices are somewhat higher, understandably, but also the portions are significantly smaller. It's pleasant to sit on the patio by the creek as you dine but you don't just pay for atmosphere, you also pay to have a decent meal. I had the cheese enchilada and relleno but both (especially the enchilada) were somewhat tough and difficult to cut. I don't care for cole slaw in any form but forgot to tell the server to leave it off, so that's my bad. The best part of the meal, for me, were the beans and rice. Oh, and my wife - again - had to go find our server so we could pay the check. I think this place needs to hire more people. That would certainly help customer service, maybe hiring a different cook might help food quality. Who knows.

We went in tonight for dinner and we were left there waiting to be seated for about 15 minutes. No one ever greeted us, staff members passed by and didn’t even look at us not one time. Keep in mind it was dead inside so really no excuse for it as there was multiple employees but not even a “hi someone will be right with you” went in excited to try the food but left so very disappointed.

The atmosphere was wonderful! Really enjoyed sitting by the river. It was raining out and the covered patio kept us nice and dry.

All of these good reviews have got to be fake. This was absolutely the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Guacamole is not made fresh, rotten Avocado taste. The fajitas were flavorless. The wait staff was yelling and swearing at each other 2 feet away from our table. Our table was absolutely filthy, the glass display case had food splattered all over it. We could not get our server to bring us a check, we even asked the hostess if we could just pay and she couldn't even get him to bring us a check. Dining there was like being on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Yall wild.
