We came around 3:30pm for an early dinner and we were not disappointed! If you can get there before rush hour, ask for patio seating ... we got a table right next to the river, and the sounds (and view!) were beautiful. It reminded me of a rainforest café.
The chips and salsa were delicious, and our main courses were good! It is a solid choice if you're craving Mexican- with an even better view than most restaurants
Outstanding mex cuisine at a very reasonable price ! And great margaritas!!
Ok..so let me start by saying if you are in the Manitou Springs area and you love Mexican food then you HAVE to stop here! The service was good, staff was polite and the food and drink were terrific!!! We have nothing bad to say about our experience here!!!
One of the better patios in town. Top notch margaritas. We always go for the Molcajete.
Nice little out-of-the-way Mexican restaurant. Service was outstanding, the food was delicious and very nicely presented. Plenty of free parking.
Rough on veg options but they tried and the beans rice and guacamole were good. The service was definitely the bright spot!
decided to give this place another try after a very disappointing experience. we live very close and used to love Amanda's but the food, service, and drinks are terrible now. Seafood enchiladas came out cold. our drinks came out long after our entrees came out (which came out with our appetizer). Manager couldn't be bothered to come to our table, he just discounted our food instead of speaking with us.
Ruby is an absolute delight to have as a server. Her customer service skills are impeccable. Food is great! This is a regular stop for my fiancée and I when we are in town.

I came here for what I was hoping would be amazing authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately, the chips were stale, the salsa had NO flavor or spice, the chicken in the enchiladas tasted like the chicken came from a can and the first spice I tasted in the small bowl of green chili that we paid $10 for was BLACK PEPPER.
I definitely won't be back.

There's a reason why the parking lot is empty at 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. Save your money please. Margarita is nothing but premixed lime juice. Enchilada sauces premixed powder with water. Food was ice cold. Beans are basically liquid. Old dirty worn out tables.

Worst Mexican food I've had in my entire life. The good reviews have to be fake. I just hope I don't get food poisoning like the others. Ordered the queso and combo fajitas. It's like they boiled the flavor out of the fajitas not grilled or charred at all. No seasoning or flavor. Queso tasted weird. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely stellar! We were recently on Vacation in COS for a month and stumbled across this gem. We ended up eating here 3x in the 4 weeks we were in town before we left and we already miss it!
Probably one of THE best Mexican restaurants we ever ate at which is saying a lot. The food (even the mixed drinks), the service, the consistency everything is A++. It takes a lot for me to give 5 stars for anything and Amanda's deserves it!

Enjoyed it. Haven't been there in years. The food was pretty good, but I seem to remember it being better the last time I was there.

Horrible experience the meet taste like alcohol, I never had a fajita so bad. It wasn’t even grilled to me, it looks like it was marinated in the alcohol. The dessert was good but that is about it.
Bad experience in Colorado on my first Mexican place here.
