The entire staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Kailan was delightful as our server answering all the questions we had...and there were lots! Emma did the same as she prepared our delicious Cheese Experience. It was another very enjoyable visit to The Black Forest Bistro! Maybe Chef Deanna will come back from Europe (Spain?) with another inspiration which we'll enjoy next time...
First and foremost the food here was fantastic. I will say we were a little disappointed their online menu wasn’t updated so we weren’t able to get the Korean street noodles as we were hoping. It was also disappointing that they didn’t acknowledge my husband and I celebrating our anniversary which we had informed them of in our reservation. We also had to switch our reservation initially and were charged $100 even through we cancelled it outside of the 24 hour window per...
Very fun, little restaurant. We usually come for the cheese wheel pasta and cocktails. Delicious main dishes and excellent wait staff. One small criticism would be the portions of the $5 garlic bread. Two extremely small/thin pieces of French bread with cheese/garlic/butter. It was jarring how paltry the add on was, despite the quality and portion size of everything else on the menu.
