Absolutely fantastic!! If you know anything about Guamanian or phillipino food this place is your spot! Love it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious food, super-friendly service!!
The best spot for Chamorro food in Colorado! ?
Thank goodness this shady place finally closed down! Just drove by and their whole operation has vanished, seemingly overnight! Their sign is gone and all their hideous tires along with it. This place was so sketchy from the get-go! Everytime I drove by there were random kids running and people loitering around in the parking lot. It was NOT a welcoming environment... Apparently, it was a tire shop AND food truck!? Very sketchy, indeed. It's no wonder they closed down. I wonder what business will go into this location next!? ?
This place just gained a frequent customer. Communication was fast and they went out of their way to accommodate my order. Now the food! The food was DELICIOUS and full of familiar flavors, so I will be ordering from here as often as I can! The rib plate was amazing, the wings were yummy, and the kimchi pasta now has me craving for my next order! Kudos Bonitans!
Recently drove by their spot and noticed a bright neon sign i hadn’t seen before. Turned back around and stopped on a whim… so glad we did. It’s definitely in a blink and you might miss it spot, but it’s worth the (possibly illegal) u-turn at the light!
The fried chicken had two crunchy and moist drumsticks. The short ribs were smokey and complimented the rice well. The awesome lumpia filling comes with glass noodles in it. Even the potato salad was great!
The shrimp and the chicken kelaguen (a dish similar to ceviche) were fresh and had the right amount of kick to really drive the meal home.
To tie it all in, the desserts were well packaged and delicious til the last bite. The whole family enjoyed the food and we’ll definitely swing by again soon.
Super stoked for the shrimp patties and empanadas!
P.S. forgot to mention that the “kimchi pancit” was so good, my wife and cousin killed it before remembering to save me some!!
(No pics yet as all the food was gone)
Update:
The noodles were BOMB! They’re simple yet super tasty. Definitely my favorite side!
The shrimp patties are a really cool mix of textures and flavors that’s hard to describe. I get them every time now…
The empanadas have an awesome kick that you wouldn’t expect!
Also, they have a sit-down area that’ll definitely come in handy in our crazy Colorado Springs weather!
The food was really good! The staff was friendly. No seating so it's to go but no big deal. I will definitely go back .
Came here to have tires replaced last minute before a long trip. They had the tires I needed and told me to come by asap. Changed them out in about 45 minutes. There is also I food truck here, and the food is amazing!!! You must come by here for the food!!!
If I could give 10 stars I would.
My friend brought me to Bonitan's on bbq day, this was hands down the best bbq I have ever had and the potato salad was so flavorful I could have eaten a gallon! Thank you for the fantastic meal, I will be back!!
