We ordered apps and wine. The apps we ordered were the black garlic fries, ceviche, and coconut shrimp. No issues with the fries and shrimp. In fact both were pretty good. The ceviche looked nice, but once we dipped into it, it was pretty underwhelming. It was a lot of liquid, and not citrus and slat flavors we are used to in ceviche. The shrimp were chewy tiny, brown shrimp, and the “scallops” were they little chewy, button sized pieces of something, not scallops. The three fresh shrimp on the rim of the bowl were nice and cooked right. I ordered the lobster stuffing topped halibut. The presentation was nice, but one side of the halibut had been way overcooked and was chewy. Like fish-skin chewy. And no, there was no skin on it. It was one of the most expensive fish plates on the menu and was really poorly prepared. Again, nice presentation, but sadly overcooked. Other entrees ordered were done correctly.

Had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation time to get our table but, that wasn't a big deal and it was a great meal.

We ate early. 5PM. The place was quiet with a good sound vibe. Steak with Blue cheese and Lobster were cooked perfect. Crème Brule was so good we orders two. Great service. Great value. We will return.

The oysters are why we came, and the oysters did not disappoint! We also highly recommend the lobster cobb salad. It was a delicious seafood happy hour.

If you are in the mood for seafood, this is a wonderful experience. Energetic, with an engaging staff who seem happy and proud of providing a pleasant dining experience. A good variety of fish and perfectly cooked, understated quality. The focus is on the fish. My wife and I will certainly return and look forward to trying other dishes.

My wife and I ordered Halibut it was dry. You would think that a seafood restaurant would know how to cook fish. Our salad was very good.

The seafood is fresh and well prepared, and the steaks are really excellent with the blue cheese topping. The service is always terrific. The decor is a bit odd, but the food is always great.

Matthew was fantastic and made it a night to remember for our anniversary. The food was excellent, we splurged but the cost was reasonable for what we wanted/expected of one of our favorite restaurants.

Nice Ambience when you enter restaurant. Hostess and waitress were exceptional on providing great service and advice. Food was excellent and my wife and I so enjoyed! Highly recommend!!!

This was our first experience at this restaurant. It was one of the best meals we have had. The service was excellent, and so was the food. I loved my cippino!

Being from NYC we hold restaurants to the high standards for Colorado. This restaurant was good there's room for improvement.

Bonny and Read's never disappoints! We always have excellent food and excellent service. The drinks are great, too and honestly this restaurant is very reasonably priced for this level of dining. Parking downtown can be a challenge, but thankfully there's a parking garage right across the street!
