We ordered a lemon meringue and key lime pie for a birthday and they were both delicious and so well made!

The nice young service person izzy was really really nice! they were very informal about the deserts and very friendly. they had incredible costumer service. 10/10…i will be bringing my grandchildren here!

The cake was genuinely good better than what you’d find at many other places. However, the prices are steep for what you get. They’re charging luxury level prices, but the overall experience doesn’t quite match that standard. The coffee was especially disappointing, and the service felt underwhelming for the premium they’re asking.

One if our favorite spots in town, and our go-to bakery. An established Colorado Springs classic, Boonzaaijer’s is easy to recommend and easy to share with friends and family. Whether it’s cakes, pies, cookies, pastries, sweet or savory, or custom orders, they can meet your needs.

I did not care for the German Chocolate Cake I purchased for my daughters birthday. Boonzaaijers is a quality run bakery with genuinely nice people and their customer service is great. Note that I've had good experiences prior so this recent experience is likely isolated. The German Chocolate Cake is different from the traditional Americanized version. It had distinct traces of coffee in it and less coconut. It seemed more like,A gourmet style. It was prepared very professionally on time and neatly packaged. Will probably stick to their Truffle and Boston Creme.

Best bakery in the Springs, hands down. Crumble 🍏🍎 apple pie, simply the best!

I love bakerys, but for some reason I was not a fan of this place. They have great reviews and the food looks delicious. I guess I'm not a fan of Dutch deserts. It all tasted too milky, some plain, dry and some not sweet, but I'm glad we tried it.
