Under the new ownership, I am significantly disappointed. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants for the family atmosphere and quality of food. The menu is now extremely limited (kids meals aren’t even on the menu) and the atmosphere is not at all welcoming for families. The seating was open which meant the only tables available were in the bar which doesn’t work well for kids and it took over 5 minutes before we were greeted and still hadn’t taken our drink order at that point. So sad that we won’t be going back anymore.

Skip the big burger shop and come to a perfect local burger joint! Wagyu beef! Amazing hand crafted sauces.. and a homemade ice cream sandwich.. even the 4 year old loved it. Hand crafted cocktails for adults. We will be back.. this is a spot you will crave! Ps..the Train shots..when the train goes by!!

I can’t believe I haven’t been here before! Honestly, best burger I’ve had in the Springs so far and it has such a great view of pikes! I love that we found our new go-to burger spot!

Brakeman’s…..thank you for being my second round at tasting a Wagyu burger! Very flavorful, crispy, and exactly how I want a classic smash burger to be. I ordered the Brakeman’s Classic Smash’d Burger (plain, with aioli sauce instead of the signature 1982 sauce), with an order of the Truffle fries. The atmosphere was very mellow and great music playing. Will definitely be going back again!

Great stop. Best burger I’ve had in a while

Really great burger, it takes a little while to get your food but it's made to order so understandable. Poetically the best "smash" burger over had in the springs.

This was our first dinner after getting into town and we couldn't have been happier with it. Cam is a fantastic server, the burgers and fries were exactly what we were looking for, and drink selection and prices were great. Highly recommended.

I never ever leave reviews, but I felt like I had to say something about this. I googled best burger in town in this place popped up. I called and placed a to-go order for a cheeseburger and fries. This ridiculous thin little something is what I discovered when I got home with no cheese and cucumbers on it???? Barely a handful of soggy french fries. And with the tip for the poor girl who just had to serve this sorry excuse for a cheeseburger, this cost me $25
If this is the kind of food this place serves don't bother wasting your time or money

So after waiting for them to reopen.
The menu and French fries are completely different.
The food is still delicious and the service is still excellent.
If you ever ate here before and have had their hand cut fries you’d understand. But aside from the French fries the food is still delicious so I will continue to come and enjoy the food!
