I do not think Colorado knows what BBQ really is.

Young lady, who prepared the takeout order was stupendous! Very friendly and attentive. However, there were two young girls, who literally hid from sight so that they did not have to help me. The owner needs to know this because their food is superb!

Food and service were excellent for an affordable price. Pulled pork and brisket were tasty.

I used to love this place! They were so good and cared about your bbq. Now it seems like they've really lost it. I just ordered a pound of burnt ends and they looked awful. They aren't burned at all, and they just sourced them in sauce. The last time I had them they were a little crispy and actually a little burnt and perfect. Its honeslty looks like canned meat.

I did rate the food the lowest--2 stars--but the service and atmosphere were good. Our complaints are like many others' --the portions are very small for the price, the food lacks seasoning, the meat wasn't awesome quality. We had hoped to support the local guy but there are better bbq options in the Springs (some chains and some local). I think Broken Bones bbq fits better in Monument with less competition to survive being just mediocre.

I ordered lean brisket. The servings are very small, and my brisket had fat woven all throught the meat - the brisket used there is of very low quality. There were illegal alieans begging for food/money outside the business - they had kids begging as well.

This is my favorite bbq restaurant in town. The meats are always tender and flavorful, no sauce necessary. But their sauces are really good, too. Their turkey breast is a revelation. I know what you're thinking: Ugh, turkey is so boring. Just trust me and try it. Their jalapeño cheddar tots are like crack. They're not very spicy, but amazing flavor. I would eat them until I couldn't fit out the door anymore.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are available. All the meats are gluten free. My mom who is Celiac can eat here with no reaction.

Good BBQ but it’s always empty, the gal at the counter was the least friendly person I’ve met in years, and it’s way over priced.

Terrible experience! We absolutely love bbq. Decided to try a new place and saw it had decent reviews. When I think bbq, I think of great southern hospitality and excellent food. This was the complete opposite. As soon as we walked in we were "greeted" by the most unfriendly and rude person I've ever encounter. The receipt said her name was "Haiden". She not only was unfriendly, she was also unhelpful, and made the whole visit uncomfortable. It was honesty the most uncomfortable dining experience I've ever had. We asked about exchanging a side for something else and we're told we couldn't. Ordered something else entirely which was not very good. We sat down to eat and asked for to go boxes which also seemed to be a huge inconvenience to ask for. The boxes were rudely handed over and had short dark hairs in them. It was gross. As "Haiden" walked through the practically empty dining area, she tossed a chair into the table which someone had slightly left untucked near the table. She seemed incredibly annoyed. We will not be going back.

Overall good BBQ. They have five choices of sauce, so you can go crazy with options if you like. I've tried the pulled pork and pulled chicken. I do happen to think the chicken tastes better than the pork though. Customer service was good and the inside of the restaurant was clean. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area.Vegetarian options: You're kidding right?Parking: Parking it right out frontKid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly

Food is bomb, those cheesy jalapeño tots are my favorite thing ever. BBQ is good, and prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get! Definitely recommend!
