I love Captain D's. Don't eat a lot of fried foods but when I splurge this is go to for me. Reminds me of my hometown where we would visit with my family. Something comforting in familiar smells and taste's.

Was my girlfriend and I's first time trying Captain D's. The food exceeded our expectations.The service was even better, I believe the man that took our order was named Dennis. He was so kind and very helpful. Will be back!

This place is run down the food is disgusting it's not the same anymore nothing is no restaurant it's the same quite disgusting if you ask me I took one bite of my fish and could not touch it again it was so gross The quality of food is gone down ridiculously and it's just not a good place to eat anymore I used to love Captain D's when I was a kid now it's disgusting at least this one is

As I’m on my way to a 12 hour shift I thought maybe I should get some lunch before work so I stopped at Captain D’s. I asked for a black and white fish. Well it’s definitely blackened because it’s burnt. I call in the general manager is like yes bring it back and we will make you another but she was adamant on me bringing it back because she wants to make sure I’m not lying. The thing is I’m working a 12 hour shift. Why the hell would I want fish in my car for that long just another $15 wasted don’t go to this location. It’s literally disgusting so is the service

“The food here is always fresh and made to order, so everything comes out hot. I appreciated that when I said no hush puppies, they offered breadsticks instead—a thoughtful touch I haven’t experienced at other locations. It really makes me feel like I’m getting the full value of my meal. Before, I would just toss the hush puppies, but now, thanks to Captain D’s, I can enjoy my meal without waste. Thank you for the great service!”

Those are the "chicken tenders". The flavor is great, don't get me wrong, but they are scrawny.
Plus our fries and okra were barely fried, they were both limp. After some doctoring up, they were fine.
It could've been an off night.
