Was really excited to check out this cyberpunk inspired bar, but was pretty disappointed in how pedestrian the decor was. The drinks were VERY good, as was the service. Just wish they'd put more effort into creating the vibe

Service was terrible even compared to some rachet bars. Took my sister here for her birthday and got accused of us both being too intoxicated bc she spilled her water, so all they had to serve was Ramen and water would definitely not recommend.

A steaming helping of Takoyaki came out on a wooden plate drenched in mayonnaise and savory sauce with a topping of fish flakes and green onions. I popped one of the molten morsels into my mouth. It was nice and smoky with subtle notes of ginger. The saltiness of the fish flakes contrasted perfectly with the sweetness of the sauce. The octopus inside was pleasant to chew on. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Not to mention the superb cyberpunk atmosphere.

I can’t believe it took us so long to discover this place! The vibe, the food, and the service were all fantastic! The music was great and played at the perfect level where you could enjoy it but still have a conversation. Our server was so chill and friendly he recommended a drink when I asked and it was one of the best and most unusual cocktails I’ve had! We went for sushi but be aware they don’t really have sushi. We stayed anyway and will definitely be going back!

Super cool nerdy bar! Honestly, it was going to get 5 stars just because Nausicaa was playing in the background, but then the food and service were amazing too. I was shocked at how good the tempura veggies are. Update: tempura veggies still amazing!

Very cool place; dark and cozy but modern too. Food is wonderful, mainly deconstructed sushi (bowls) Tried the green tea, which was served hot with agave and ginger, delicious! We will be dining here again!

Me and a couple co-workers stopped here for dinner after work. It is a fun Izakaya type bar with delicious Japanese appetizer type dishes like takoyaki. They also have a few rice bowls if you're looking for more of a meal. I really enjoy the format of this bar it's a nice place to relax. Have a drink and a small snack and unwind from your day.
Chiba Bar is nothing like other Japanese food restaurants and stands alone in its own unique way. I personally loved this place, the food, and the atmosphere. Waiters were really nice, on time, and amazing. The food is delicious and I really like their Ikezo Sparkling Sake "Jelly Shot" Mixed Berry or Peach.
I hope to come again next time. The music was not too loud yet loud to enough to be heard, so it added an ambience.
Seriously this was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and attentive right from the start. The drinks and food were out of this world. My favorites were the unagi bowl, the takoyaki, and the rocketgirl cocktail. The atmosphere is really fun with cool music, artwork, and videos on the tv. We will definitely be back!
