I have been super exited to try this place, and decided this morning would be the perfect opportunity. We got there about 8:15 and placed our order. There were only 4 other people there when we arrived. Everything on the menu looked really good. I got a handheld burrito, my husband the smothered. We decided to get it to go. We were told about 12 minutes, so we sat and waited. It took over 30 minutes for our order to come out. I don’t mind waiting, and can understand being understaffed, but this was incredibly slow. I can’t imagine what their rush hour looks like. The burritos were okay, I’ve had better. Probably won’t go back.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but people deserve to know what to expect and this place got my attention 100%, just not in a good way. My parents were visiting from Florida and were excited to get some real green chili while in town.
We had dinner here, and unfortunately, it was a letdown across the board. The food was mediocre, but what really stood out were the surprise charges and lack of transparency. My dad asked for a refill on his Arnold Palmer and was told he would be charged $6…. without any mention of a cost beforehand.
We were also charged $4 for a side of salsa, $6 for a side of green chili, $3 for onions, and even an extra charge for a chip refill. None of these were disclosed, and it honestly felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed the whole time.
To top it off, the order was wrong. I specifically asked for no refried beans because I don’t eat pork, but still got them. My wife’s plate was missing the beans she asked for. For 4 adults and 2 kids, our total came to $114 and it definitely wasn’t worth it.
Worst of all, I woke up the today with stomach issues that have me seriously questioning their food safety. This felt more like a ripoff than a meal out. We won’t be coming back.
Our waitress was nice, but the service was slow. Maybe they are short staffed, not sure. The food is unfortunately mediocre. Chicken was dry, beans were bland, the chips were really hard and the rice seemed old. They charge $6 for a side of green chili, which seems crazy… And our stomachs aren’t very happy today. They missed the mark at this place :(
I have never left a review in my life. This place deserved my full attention. The green chillie had no flavor. Small portion sizes. They charged extra for a side of green chillies, chips, salsa, refill on an Arnold Palmer and a side of onions. It's a shame I can't give negative star review. Don't wast your money!!!
This placed up charged everything, including onion, chips and salsa, didn't give refills on Arnold Palmers. The green chilli sucked, very watery. Overall bad experience. $6.00 for extra green chilli. Don't waste your time or money
Amazing food, but service took awhile. Friendly staff!
The avocado pork burrito was primo!
This is the 2nd time I have been here and it definitely didn't disappoint! I had carna asada tacos & a lemonade! It was delicious! 😋 Highly recommend!
I went to Chili Colorado for a lunch meeting with my boss today. When the wait staff took my order, I asked that they leave the chili off or put it on the side. I explained that I wasn’t trying to be difficult and picky but I’ve had stomach surgery and some spicy food can cause pain so I just avoid it. The wait staff took my order but then came back and said the chef wouldn’t allow me to leave the chili off. I was surprised so I asked if the chili was something that just goes on top of the food or inside. If the food was premade and the chili went inside, I could understand not accommodating my request. The waiter said no, it goes on top of the food. I commented that I cannot understand why you can’t just skip putting the chili on top of my food. He went back to the kitchen and another wait staff member came back to the table. She apologized but said the chef would not allow me to leave off the chili because it messes up his presentation. My boss was appalled that the restaurant wouldn’t accommodate such an easy and simple request. My boss stood up and said, let’s go. We didn’t stay for lunch and we went to another establishment. As we were leaving, the hostess apologized again. My boss commented that it was a shame that the ego of a chef outweighed a reasonable and easy request of a customer. The request seemed pretty simple to me. For those wondering, I couldn’t just scrape it off because it would seep into the bread of the item I ordered. I won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant for future work meetings or to family.
Service and food was amazing. The adovada was so good!

Excellent food, great prices, kind and warm service. The green chili is delicious and has lots of good quality pork. I have enough left over for dinner and breakfast now.

We got a table right away! Waited 15 mins to order drinks, they never brought our water, had to go ask for it! Ordered chips & Queso, our food came first & never got our chips! Enchiladas were ok not enough chillie to dry, as well as the refries! A coworker recommended this place, unfortunately I was disappointed & would not recommend it! Great place for a good Mexican restaurant, need to work on a few things! Best of luck with your business!
