We went to celebrate my birthday and our sons and there was nothing that made our dining experience special. The calamari was good and the blackened shrimp Alfredo was good but who charges $25 for a plate and doesn’t remove the shrimp tails? The stuffed mushrooms were okay and the lobster rolls were okay. Definitely nothing that would have me running back which is a shame because I was told to check this place out from a co-worker. To spend over $130 not including tip and be so disappointed is disappointing. Over server was fine the food just didn’t cut it.
This place is our "go to" for special occasions. August 18th was our anniversary and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Service was a bit slow this evening which was unusual but we were not in any hurry. My wife ordered the ahi tuna which was perfect according to her. I ordered the Filet mignon. I usually order the salmon which is always great. The filet was one tough piece of meat. It was difficult to cut and difficult to chew. My advice is to stick with the seafood.
Absolutely a lovely experience from beginning to end for our group of 5. The blue crab dip was delicious. Every single dish exceeded expectations. Well priced for what you get. Would recommend making reservations ahead of time.
Not impressed. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich with a salad and added French fries (either or). I paid in addition, $11.00 for a side salad( I'm aware food costs are up, but really)? Culvers fast food makes a much tastier fish sandwich. This one was bland and more bun than anything. I wanted to love this place, however, was very disappointed. Service was ok.
I had an interesting dinning experience at this restaurant. First, my server (Matthew) was outstanding. I ordered a salad, clam chowder, ceviche, scallops and crème brûlée. The salad and clam chowder were very good, but ceviche needs a lot of work. The presentation of the ceviche was outstanding, but the flavor and variety of seafood was lacking. The ceviche contained one shrimp and baby scallops. The citrus flavor and seasoning of the ceviche was mission. My scallop dish had very good flavor and the scallops were cooked properly, but the dish was like a spin on shrimp-n-grits. The andouille sausage and other items overpowered the flavor of the scallops, but the dish still had very good flavor. The crème brûlée was excellent and the staff were incredible.
Seated promptly. Nice ambience and server seemed knowledgeable. He encouraged us to order starters and mains at the same time saying he would pace the courses. Halfway through my salad, our entrees are unceremoniously dropped at our table with no offer to clear finished plates or acknowledgement of not being ready for entrees. We quickly noticed our orders were not properly fulfilled as ordered so sent them back, asking also that the entrees be held until we were ready for them. Nope, shortly thereafter entrees are dumped back at table and salad plates are not even noted (still wasn’t done with mine). And guess what?! Orders were wrong again! By this time the waiter has blown right past us, not even checking if we are okay. Apparently we were now the manager’s problem. We were over it and asked to pay what we owed so we could leave. The one good move of the night: the manager waived the bill for the salads and drinks we had consumed. Appropriate. So there is nothing about this place to recommend it. Too bad.
Great food, and friendly service. Our host was great and a very very sweet person. We had mushroom appetizers and clam chowder. The Alfredo and Halibut stuffed with crab was delicious. Recommend reservations for Friday and Saturday nights.
I walked in late on Sunday, few tables full. I was greater very friendly and I showed the bar since I was alone. Friendly and attentive bar tender and never rushed me. I had the Filet Bonny style and it was absolutely wonderful. Presented well and tasted great. Cooked perfectly and very tender. I would definitely come again.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and were not disappointed. The halibut and salmon were cooked to perfection and the sides were scrumptious! Ambience was quiet - perfect for a romantic evening. Wait staff were prompt and attentive but not overbearing. We left happy, satisfied and wanting to come back. Highly recommend you have reservations as they are busy, but our food came quickly and everything was perfect. Great wine selections, excellent salads and desserts. A perfect night out.

We had the Fried Goat Cheese Spinach Salad, Coconut Shrimp and then the Halibut for an entree. The salad was extra special, different from any we'd had before and such a delicious mix of flavors, Shrimp and Halibut also did not disappoint.
We're impressed that seafood in landlocked Colorado could be so fresh and good! As someone who tries to always eat gluten free, it's so refreshing that most of the menu is gluten free. Salads are tasty and fresh, my husband has enjoyed the little neck clams, and halibut with lemon beurre blanc is so good I've had it every time we go! A little pricy but you get what you pay for. Yum!
This is easily the best food I’ve had in Colorado Springs. Each dish was wonderful and delicious Even saying that, the highlight of the dinner was the service. Our server was Lisa. She was beyond fantastic. While being friendly and engaging and funny, she was still efficient and exactly on time with every step and detail. What a great birthday celebration for my mom!!
Fabulous. Sherry loved her halibut. My cioppino was better than Fisherman's Wharf. We'll be back soon. Sidewalk table next.
No happy hour. Prices are almost double. Portions are half the size. I always loved this place in the past. It was the only place that brought in fresh fish daily. I paid $150 for two people for dinner and it was just so so. I'll not be going back. To bad. I'll have to cook my own seafood at home.
