Cogstone Brewery is a hidden gem. Their creative beers are wild in the best way, especially the Chips and Salsa brew. It’s like drinking the perfect appetizer and somehow it works. The food is awesome, the place is quaint, and the whole vibe just hits right. Definitely worth a stop.
Cogstone is a smaller local brewery great homemade fired pizza and burgers! However I rarely love their beer. I find most of them to be on the sweeter side, which isn't my thing.
You really need to experience the Cogstone signature IPA, then add on the side of a perfect pub cheese burger with home made handcut fries (add a side of pickled jalapeños to top it off). Perfect!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cogstone Brewing Company is such a hidden gem! 🍺 The variety of unique beers is unlike anywhere else—where else can you try a Beet Cream Ale, Cucumber Cream Ale, or even Chips & Salsa beer? • The Beet Cream Ale was incredibly light and smooth. • The Cucumber Cream Ale smelled just like fresh cucumbers—so refreshing! • The Chips & Salsa Ale completely blew my mind—the aftertaste is literally like spiced salsa with salty tortilla chips. How do they do that?! • Their Pumpkin Ale is a seasonal star, perfectly balanced without being overpowered by nutmeg or cinnamon. • My personal favorite? The Cream Ale—so smooth, with a touch of sweetness that almost reminds me of cream soda. Yum! The food is just as impressive. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, and the duck fat fries are golden, crispy perfection (though I wish more came with the combo… we ended up ordering extra because they were that good!). They also offer fire-oven pizzas and even burrata (which could use some tomatoes for balance, but still tasty). Between the unique brews, delicious food, and the option to grab merch or take home a growler of your favorite beer, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. A must-try for locals and visitors alike! The staff is pretty great and social- go see Jessica!
Burrata and cream ale are both amazing. Highly recommend!
Got the Chips and Salsa beer and it was crazy good! Also got the loaded fries and they were delicious!
Visited June 4, 2020 Last stop for the evening, then some brews and food
Went on a sunday, dude was single handedly serving and cooking for 14 people. Claimed food was slow but I think he did well serving. For the pizza. I'm not a fan of the crust, but it was good over all. A solid 4. The beer however, enjoyed the Irish lager, and really loved the wee heavy... they had a beer called chips and salsa... they named it correctly. So delicious, it was like drinking salsa!!! I wish I could give the beer a higher ranking.
Grace and Mark are very welcoming. Great beer, atmosphere and food. Nice regulars as well. :)
Great beer, great food, and a great atmosphere. The bartenders, and staff are super friendly and give awesome recommendations. Whoever is brewing their beer is extremely creative and you can tell they love what they do. If you are hanging around midtown Colorado Springs, drop in and grab a beer here!

We've picked-up pizza from Cogstone at least once a week for the last six months. It is very consistent and good! Easily the best pizza in the Springs. One pizza is just the right size for one person. Dough and sauce are both perfect for any toppings. The service is always friendly and atmosphere clean. Highly recommend!
