Cogstone Brewing Company is such a hidden gem! 🍺 The variety of unique beers is unlike anywhere else—where else can you try a Beet Cream Ale, Cucumber Cream Ale, or even Chips & Salsa beer?
• The Beet Cream Ale was incredibly light and smooth.
• The Cucumber Cream Ale smelled just like fresh cucumbers—so refreshing!
• The Chips & Salsa Ale completely blew my mind—the aftertaste is literally like spiced salsa with salty tortilla...
Went on a sunday, dude was single handedly serving and cooking for 14 people. Claimed food was slow but I think he did well serving. For the pizza. I'm not a fan of the crust, but it was good over all. A solid 4. The beer however, enjoyed the Irish lager, and really loved the wee heavy... they had a beer called chips and salsa... they named it correctly. So delicious, it was like drinking salsa!!! I wish I could give the beer a higher ranking.
Great beer, great food, and a great atmosphere. The bartenders, and staff are super friendly and give awesome recommendations. Whoever is brewing their beer is extremely creative and you can tell they love what they do. If you are hanging around midtown Colorado Springs, drop in and grab a beer here!
