Black Bear Diner Colorado Springs - Garden of the Gods

There are so many wonderful choices on the menu you’ll be able to find something you’ll like. There are even sections with portions for lighter appetites. I ordered avocado toast with a poached egg. Delicious is an understatement! My husband had a Rueben sandwich and took half of it home. Great service here from the greeting at the front door, excellent waiter, and friendly cashier. High quality in every respect!

My wife and I enjoyed a special breakfast yesterday at the Black Bear Diner on Garden of the Gods. The restaurant was busy, but the staff easily handled the crowd. Our 2-egg classic combo breakfast was excellent, but more impressive was the efficiency of the employees ensuring total satisfaction from all patrons. Everyone had a smile on their face working together to take care of all customers. The tables were rapidly bussed, the floors were constantly cleaned, and most importantly, the wait staff was a model of efficiency. Our waitress, Maybelle, was excellent, and the entire group of workers made us feel welcome and special. Kudos to manager David Tebbe.

We went for lunch. The sourdough burger was delicious! Quick service, great prices. Will definitely go again.

We were very disappointed with this visit. This is the third location I've been to and the first that wasn't great. It took an hour from when we arrived until we got our food. Our server was friendly but seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced and did not communicate well.

We come to this restaurant every time we come to visit and it has become a family tradition I hope to continue! After a long week of surviving off snacks in the mountains, this is the exactly the meal we needed!! Food is great, for a great price and the staff is lovely.

First time visiting very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great selection of food ranging from breakfast, to lunch, and dinner. I had the tri tip dip, French dip sandwich, very good meal, served fresh. Our waiter Kathy was very kind and welcoming, and very helpful in helping me navigate the menu and options. Definitely recommend if you have a good hour to relax and enjoy some good food.

Aurora Location: Delicious food, nice people, clean place. The pancakes are amazing, flavor and texture.
Colorado Springs-Garden of Gods Location
Smaller than Aurora location but so nice. Food was amazing. Becca, the server, took care of us and made us feel welcome.
Prices are affordable. Huge portions.
I will definitely visit the Illinois’ location soon.
