The one in Texas is a lot better and we have given it several tries. They skimp on the cheese and meat, have difficulty keeping track with our whole family’s order, and are really slow.
This fast food restaurant is not great. We bought the quesadilla combo. The tortilla’s are press cooked right in front of you. They should have been cooked longer. They still felt slightly doughy. The staff was…meh. I’ve been to another location in Idaho. It was much better. I won’t be back.
This place is going downhill fast. The portion sizes for the price you pay is terrible. The horchata and all the healthy ice tea drinks were all empty. The trash cans were overflowing and tables were dirty. The bathrooms were out of paper towels. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here any time soon or at all. Tighten it up Costa Vida. 👎
That sweet pork burrito hits different. Some people(who are wrong) think Costa Vida and Chipotle are basically the same. They are not. Costa Vida is the fresher, high quality, more options big sister to the C. Costa Vida is the target to Chipotles walmart. Mango salsa..... its so damn good. Always get that.
Went in on 4/23/25 the food was nasty, but the service was worse, the girl behind the counter made it clear she didn’t want to be there. Won’t be going back!
I went to the restaurant at one full hour before at closing and they were out of every meat but shrimp and pork. The manager didn't seemed bothered.

We love Costa Vida and Cafe Rio style food and have eaten from many of these restaurants all over the country. The food quality of this location is lower than we’ve come to expect from our experience at other locations. It often takes a long time to get food even though the line isn’t usually very long. I’d recommend Costa Vida send some help to this location to get it up to standards.

Not sure what's happening with this place, but our last couple have take out orders have basically contained hardly any meat. This time when I got home I just flipped my salad over in the lid and pulled out maybe 1-2oz of sweet pork. My daughters salad was the same. My son ordered the beef barbacoa quesadilla and he said the same thing, mostly tortilla and cheese....hardly no meat. We've frequented this Costa Vida for years, but something has changed for sure. Not worth the money anymore.

We ordered take out and it was very disappointing. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, no cheese or rice, beans and tortilla on the side. I have ordered this salad many times and today was very disappointing. The amount of guacamole was a tablespoon size and was mostly made up of the bad parts of an avocado when it is old and going bad. Usually the amount of guacamole is three times that amount and delicious. After my husband got home, we noticed the tortilla was missing. Missing the tortilla has happened before also. I will think twice before getting Costa Vida again.

Great food and SO fresh! I didn’t realize you could literally taste freshness 🤯. Btw, I highly recommend getting a salad with a “tortilla base”; it’s like getting a salad AND a burrito to finish 🙃.

Counter service Mexican food. Tacos, burritos and bowls were all good. Queso was really good. No margaritas at lunch on Friday, though....

Fresh food and gluten friendly. The gluten free options are only listed online, not on the menu board, so it's not as Gluten Free friendly for first timers, but once you know what you can have it gets much easier to order.
