Daddy's Chicken Shack

This place is great! I personally think it's better than Chick-fil-A. Food is good service is pretty quick and the place is always clean. It's usually not very busy which is usually a bad sign for a restaurant but don't let that fool you this is a really good place. However, I'm torn, I want them to do really well because it is good but I don't want the place to be over run with other people making it crowded all the time, so maybe stay away.

I've been here twice. First time was horrible.. but it was when it first opened so I thought I would give it a try again today. Just as bad as the first time. I couldn't even chew the chicken it was so dry. I took a photo but it isnt letting me upload it. Never again. When you pay over $16 for a meal(4 strips, fries and medium Dr. Pepper) ... you expect to eat more than 3 bites of it. Also the ranch tastes stale.

Spend $20 and get four skinny little chicken strips and a few fries. Absolutely not worth it

Ordered 4 chicken strip meals with varying spice levels. All boxes were unmarked with same spice levels. More notably, the strips themselves were horrible. For all 4 meals, the chicken strips were about 2 finger (of a hand) in length and same width of a finger. Would rather go to Cane's for this price. Fries were actually incredible and a great portion. But this is a Fried chicken place, not a fry place.

Sorry to see recent negative reviews, as our recent visit was excellent! Our server, Thaddeus, was very nice, helping explain how a coupon we had worked and checking to make sure our order was correct.

We got an extra hot Nashville crispy chicken sandwich and a crispy Simple Daddy, with fried pickles on the side. Everything came out in a matter of moments after we sat down, we were astounded that it was already ready. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly done. Both sandwiches were large and thick, especially for the price, but still juicy throughout. The Nashville was quite hot and the pickles on th sandwiches were delicious and thick cut. The sauces were tasty and the fried pickles were awesome too, perfectly fried and not gummy or overcooked.

Overall very happy with our visit, would absolutely visit again if we are hankering for a chicken sandwich! Unfortunately we scarfed everything down a little too quickly to take any photos... 😅

My husband picked this up for dinner. Very disappointed in the quality. The tenders were tiny and mostly breading. To be a new place-they need to put out better food and decent portions. Over $30 for very little food. We will not be going back.

We were excited to try this restaurant for dinner but we were very disappointed in the quality of the food.
We placed an online order for pick-up and yet my husband had to wait an additional 10 minutes after our order’s pick-up time in the empty restaurant (there were no other patrons) for our food to finish.
My husband ordered mild chicken strips and he received incredibly spicy strips.
The fries were soggy and tasted old. The sauces were bland.
My chicken sandwich was dry and the sauce on it provided hardly any flavor.
My son’s chicken bites were small and partially burnt to a crisp. 2 of them were practically the size of nickels.
The food tasted like it had sat out and no heart was put into it. We will not be ordering from here again. I would not recommend it.

Cool concept for sure. I love Nashville hot chicken so much but this place just didn't quite do it for me. Super nice employee who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the choices which was really great. Buuut the chicken fingers were literally the size of human fingers. $15+ for a combo was not right. Spice was definitely there. The chicken was just ok though. Spice overpowered the actual Nashville hot flavor. Fries were good. Might be back if I'm just looking for a snack but would pass if I were wanting a full meal.

The food was great, took a little time but worth the wait! Breanna was so kind and inviting!! Even though they were busy the other night she made sure to get me taking care of! Would definitely return!
