Fantastic! Great food. I will never have mozzarella sticks anywhere else! The fried mozzarella was delicious, along with everything else.

The food at Dat’s Italian is absolutely fantastic and truly authentic, but unfortunately, the service we experienced during dinner yesterday was a major disappointment. While the kitchen excels, the waitstaff felt very inexperienced and awkward to deal with. The evening was full of uncomfortable moments, including the server bringing our plates in a pile and leaving us to distribute them ourselves. Furthermore, when my in-laws requested to split a meal, the server simply brought one bowl stacked inside another, which felt very unprofessional. To make matters worse, the waiter was quite strange and consistently made mistakes with our bill, yet a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the total. It is a shame that such high-quality Italian cuisine is overshadowed by such poor service; I hope management focuses on better training, as the food deserves a much more professional front-of-house experience, 4 🌟's for the food but 3 🌟's for the service.

We had a very disappointing experience here on Mother’s Day. It was just me, my husband, and our kids. We arrived around 3:40 PM and the restaurant was completely empty. We were told they “had a ton of reservations coming at 4 PM” and that the soonest available table wouldn’t be until 6:30 PM.
What made it even more frustrating was that we checked OpenTable before going and there was completely open availability. Then, when we walked back past the restaurant at 4 PM, it was still empty.
It honestly felt like we were being turned away for no reason. Very poor customer experience, especially on Mother’s Day.

My wife and I are in town for a small vacation. The experience at this resturant was so awful. I really hate to even do this review because the two gentlemen seemed like nice people. However, the food was miserable. I had the chicken alfredo, it was comparable to the $1.99 pack you add water and toss in the microwave. My wife had the lasagna after it was recommended to her. Her lasagna was just as miserable. It literally had water on the plate. Unseasoned hamburger. My wife said dog food as im writing this.

On top of all that, we ordered the bread plate. Which was never put in? Just before I asked the bartender where it was, the couple behind us were wondering why they had charges for salads they never received.

The cherry on top is that it was $49 for the two entrees and two glasses of water . Are you joking 🙃 I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if it was my dogs last meal.

This place has excellent food it was so delicious I had the lasagna my daughter had the GF chicken parmesan she loved it said it is sosooooo good. Parker was our waiter and he was outstanding he held a great conversation, smiled the whole time and was really on top of his tables making sure everyone was taken care of. I will definitely be back and I will be recommending this place to everyone. So glad we came here and they do have a Gluten Free menu that has a lot of choices. Thank you so much Parker you really made our night extra special. And the place is beautiful with great music playing.

This was by far one of the best italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. We had no reservation for me n my husband. We had a wonderful time being served by Darren. The food and drinks were amazing and so fresh. The cake was my favorite part for sure. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I came in on a Friday night with a 6:30 reservation. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient without us being made to feel like we were being pushed out. We ordered the bread and olive oil plate, which was spot on perfect. We also ordered two chicken pasta dishes that were also perfect. Juicy chicken, perfectly cooked pasta and just the right about of flavors. We finished the night off with a tiramisu that was delicious.

Will absolutely be back again and again.

The staff was very attentive, even the servers who weren't assigned to our table. They were all friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food was delicious, as always. Anytime I'm in Colorado Springs I make a point to come here because it's always so amazing!

We just ate dinner here and LOVED it! We are from out of town and this was our first long awaited stop. The service, the appetizers, the drinks, the main, the deserts. I can’t go on and on enough! So happy to have been able to bring the whole family here for such a wonderful start to our vacation! Thank you!
