I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to eat at Dats Italian, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and gave us good service. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Colorado Springs now.

I love this place. The atmosphere is amazing and I suggest everyone eat here. It was a little sketchy once the new management took over but it seems to be all over now. I’m couldn’t be happier. This place is amazing and everything is delicious. I suggest everyone eat here all the time.

Great experience. This will become our Go To place for Italian! Met one of the owners and he s Was so kind. Food was outstanding and we had a great time! So much good food on the menu have to keep going back! Wish I could just have a table reserved daily!!!!!

Food was excellent and worth the long wait. The restaurant seemed very short staffed with only 2 people working the entire front of house, as a result, service was pretty slow. Our server/manager was very responsive and ensured we were still happy diners.

Reservation for Valentine's Day with fixed price. Wine they selected for package was horrid. The server rushed courses, bringing out before we finished eating each course. Main course therefore got cold. Salad drenched in raspberry dressing, minestrone soup was very bland. Entire dining was rushed. Won't go again

The Valentine's Day Special Dinner was average. Our biggest complaint was that we felt rushed. It was as though Dat's had overbooked, and they were trying to turn tables as fast as they could. It felt like a school lunchroom with table service. We were done with our meal in 35-minutes, but made sure we drug out dessert and the last glass of wine until we had been there a full 60-minutes. It was disappointing that the shrimp scampi was served cold. I would recommend Dat's Italian to a friend, but not for one of their special occasion promotions. They would not "hold" walnuts on the strawberry salad so we opted for the caesar salad.

I ate here as part of a group of nine people including two children. The food was some of the best Italian American dishes I've ever had. The eggplant parmigiana was excellent and really reminded me of a trip I took to Italy last year. A couple of other dishes that I would recommend are the clams and spaghetti and the mussels and spaghetti. The kids ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and they loved it. It's not the classic version but still a great dish prepared with care. The restaurant is operating under family ownership and management and they are very proud of "nonna's" recipes. The service was outstanding and they were careful to make sure we were happy with our choices. The restaurant itself is a classic looking place with artwork and photos of family. I can't wait to go back and get some of grandma's lasagna

I went last week and was treated to probably the best Italian food I've ever had, and wonderful service. I had the pleasure of being served by the one of the owners, Derek. He was very attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing. He graciously reccomended the Chicken Alfredo, which was absolutely fantastic. The sauce was exceptional and the chicken was tender and juicey (and made fantastic leftovers the next day). I also ordered their new bruchetta, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my perception of bruchetta. They even let me take a teramisu to go. Unfortunately I squished mine, but my dinner mate said it was "devine". I absolutely reccomend this place.

Lived in Colorado Springs my entire life and have never been here. When we arrived we were greeted by Derek, come to find out he is part of the new management team and also related to the owners. He provided us with some of the best service I've ever received at any resauraunt. The food was great and AFFORDABLE. You can tell they are in the middle of a culture change and it's working. If you want to pay top dollar, go down the street to the famous italian place (They have a few more options but the food isn't better) but if you want a good environment where the people care about your business, this is the spot. We will be back!!

Different family members took over restaurant Got bread for 4.50 but almost a whole loaf - enough for 4 people Muscles were great!!! Lasagna was cheesey but had plenty of meat sauce on the side. The cheese sauce combo they used was very tangy Caesar chicken salad was made with spring greens vs romaine but was pretty good Desserts are huge enough for 4 for couple bites each. Waiter friendly and helpful Monday night was near vacant around 715pm Good experience!!!

Bread $4.50 but you got a whole loaf!! Enough for 4 people. Mussels came hot with a really great sauce Lasagna was a little cheesy but part of the recipe and really delicious Shrimp scampi super tasting Desserts lemon cake and coffee cake like a tisramisu was really good Service was great but it was a Monday night Staff recently changed to other family members and was great Only downside was using salad greens in Caesar salad vs romaine Definite return to this place
