I spent over 150 for my family to eat my daughter chocked on the
Bread because it's so hard there is no meat the sides sucked. The fried okra was way too overcooked. The sweet tea tasted like it had been fermented for days. I cannot believe I spent $150 at your establishment and this is what I get.

Went to this location today and i can’t believe what i saw and smelled. First customer service sucked. The General Manager was there and she is a joke. She looked at us 3 times and never said anything. Finally we get our food. The meat was mildly warm, the bread was still cold from being in a fridge or freezer, the food was definitely subpar. While we were sitting there they opened the fridge and it was disgusting. It smelled rotten and I literally started gagging and left because of it. When I called another store the managers response was oh this isn’t the first time I have heard this about that store. I’m calling Alma. Well instead of Alma calling the General manager called me. That got me no where. I’m disputing the charge with my card, calling the health department to make a report and never going back there again. Stay away from this store. Don’t give them a dime of your money. Disgusting

New review from Tuesday 22 Oct 2024: ribs were dry, burnt and served cold. Sides were good. I’ve been to other Dickies locations that were far better and the negative reviews seem typical for the Garden of the Gods rd location. The other two persons in my group were also not satisfied with the food.

I went with a co-worker to lunch today and I really wish I could step into a Time Machine and go back before lunch. I’ve never eaten at this particular Dickey’s and didn’t expect gourmet BBQ. However, I did expect warm or hot food and relatively timely service at a decent price. Instead, I watched painfully while the two employees struggled to fulfill the orders and thanked God that we’d arrived when did as the next ten customers were in for a long wait. The meat sat on the serving line so long that it lost any heat it may have had when it came out of the plastic container. The only redeeming thing was the coleslaw was cold and not warm. I’ve not been to Dickey’s in probably over a year and I’m so glad that the administration’s inflation reduction act is working so well. I paid close to $25 for a two meat plate. Well, enough said. I learned a valuable lesson and am able to scratch one local eatery off the list of future lunches.

I ordered a baked potato with chicken and sausage, then i poured bbq sauce on it ? whew, wish the bbq was warm but can’t complain too much

Very average. Portion was small for the price paid. Place was empty when I came in for a take out order. At the register, there was a sign for get a free pulled pork sandwich in exchange of r 5 stars review… just be careful when reading the 5 stars review. I feel they have completed the rating prior to tasting the food. I will not go back.

Two gentlemen were working this day. *Aug 27th approx 12:30 p.m. The one with the pony tail who took our order was friendly and helpful. The other one, who rang us up was the complete opposite. I paid our $29.22 bill with two $25.00 gift cards. No thank you or even acknowledgement. I had to ask if there was any remaining balance on the cards (clearly I knew there should have been). He was clearly offended--grabbed one--pretended to type in the number and shoved it to me stating $20.00. Still, no other words. I had already deposited a tip in the jar, but to me his actions were not up front and it seemed as if he was trying to make 20.00. I do not honestly know if I got the empty card back or indeed the one that still had a balance. Chicken was dry and hard and I had to ask for my fries. Likely not returning to this establishment.
