After the gym, it's my place for a late breakfast on the weekend. I've gotten to know some of the staff over the years and they are always friendly and keep my coffee full. I don't ask much more from life.

We’ve been going here for years and always love their breakfast and sandwich options. Friendly servers and lots of New York food options. Broad menu options for everyone. My husband had the banana and pecan pancakes and enjoyed them.

We visited on a Tuesday a couple of weeks ago, arriving about 11am. I ordered Florentine Benedict; my companion ordered a vegetarian omelette. We both got home fries, which we both found good. My companion liked her veg omelette. But there were two big problems: 1) Though the place wasn’t even close to full, it took a full forty minutes (by their very visible clock) for the kitchen to get our food out to us. It wasn’t the fault of the waitress; she was attentive but the kitchen wasn’t putting the food out. 2) The English muffin under my Benedict was literally soggy, like it had been soaked in water. And there was no obvious Hollandaise on top of the eggs, so maybe they poured runny Hollandaise over the English muffin? Beats me, but by then I was starving, so I ate it. It would have been good if not for the cook’s complete lack of attention.Breakfast should always be fast. I have been in many packed restaurants that didn’t make me wait 40 minutes to be fed. And I’ve eaten many a Benedict served on a dry, even crisp, English muffin. If I’m going to brave the nightmare of parking downtown, I expect better.

Coming from New York- this place is comforting to me. It reminds me home, and it tastes pretty good. I got the matzo ball soup and my husband got the BEC on a bagel. It was a good bagel! The soup has a massive hall they split in quarters. I wish it had bits of chicken like my aunt makes- but it it was still delicious. The service was super friendly- and helped with the baby. Refilled water promptly. The ambiance was normal, relaxing..comfortable. We could fit our stroller and a high chair. When in the Springs I'll be sure to come back!

This was our first visit here - always happy to find a breakfast spot that opens early! We were not the first to arrive, but it was fairly empty when we got there around 8 am. There appeared to be only one person working the front, and she seemed to be a bit frazzled, handling the to-go orders as well as hostessing and serving. We stopped at the "Please wait to be seated" sign while a couple of men placed to-go orders. Then another man entered and passed us to go place his to-go order. Finally, the poor server noticed us (and another men who was waiting behind us) and told us we could sit where we wanted. We chose an empty booth and the server brought menus and water while taking our drink orders (iced tea - fresh-brewed and delicious). My husband ordered the veggie omelet with fruit. I decided to try the Italian Wrap with a side salad. (It was very cold outside, and I later wished I ordered something warm, but that is on me.) My husband's omelet was chock full of veggies and he enjoyed it. The toast was good, although he was sad not to find blackberry jam (his fave). My wrap was HUGE - I ended up taking half home - and very tasty. The salad was very fresh and the recommended ranch dressing was great. Overall, it was a good meal. I want to return and try the more "traditional" deli sandwiches as they all looked great. The outdoor seating is also appealing, though not in mid0winter if you're a wimp like me. And I hope that next time there will be more than one server working the front of the restaurant/ (They may have had someone call in sick, but I really felt for the woman working alone.)

The food was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I were visiting family in the Springs area over the New Years weekend and decided to have lunch here prior to leaving. What a hidden gem! My husband had the pastrami on rye and I tried the italian sausage and peppers sandwich. So delicious!! Our server, Journey, was phenomenal also! Very attentive and friendly! Matter of fact, all of the staff member were so pleasant. We are definitely revisiting East Coast Deli during future trips.

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Service: ⭐️What a bummer! This place has the potential to be so much more, but the service is horrible!! What's a good way to piss people off? Not hustling. I know so many people in tithe service industry and make decent livings, and what do they say the key to success is?: hustle. Stay busy. At least act busy! ?We rarely ever tip below 20% but we were ignored by our waitress and refuse to tip well when we feel like we are inconveniencing our waitress by simply being there. It got so bad towards the end, I hopped up and grabbed to-go boxes and my husband was estimating the tab so that we could just leave cash.To our waitress: Sorry I interrupted your gossip sesh with your co-worker so that we could pay and LEAVE. ?To management: fantastic place, but I hope you're able to find some better employees. To everyone else: eat here if you want great food, and have nothing but time to burn.

Large breakfast servings. Couldn't finish my meal. Brought home potatoes and sourdough toast for a nice second meal. A little bummed that the waitress didn't offer us mimosas when she took our drink orders before we'd had a chance to explore the menu. I was so involved with my own meal that I really don't know what my husband ordered. He liked it, though. I had bacon and egg breakfast with sourdough toast and potatoes (I think they called them home fries). Most of my breakfast was delightful. The eggs were a little undercooked but there was so much other food, I didn't complain. I don't know if they'd corrected it. I left full anyway with enough delicious leftovers for lunch. We will be back. Still want to try those mimosas and lunch menu.
