I didn't dine in but I purchased some dried chiles and Oaxaca cheese. The quality of the foods I purchased was top notch and the staff was very helpful in finding the cheese. Next time I need the ingredients, this will be my choice!
I like that this place is hidden away. There’s a lot of ingredients that can’t be found in a regular grocery store. You can get food made to order here as well which is neat. Overall pretty fun atmosphere and a good place to experience some culture.
We came here to pick up some meat to prepare later today, but walked away with full stomachs. The Menudo was delicious, the lengua was fantastic, the Barbacoa was also delicious, but the birria was probably the best I've had. Absolutely amazing birria. And unless the menu is incorrect, it's made from goat and not beef. The tortillas appear to be made in house, and were very delicious. Also amazing choices from the carniceria itself. Bought some chicharron and Adobada
