Great service but the food and atmosphere could use some work.

I got the shrimp cocktail. It barely had any vegetables, the cocktail was super sweet (which wasnt too bad), and I got crackers instead of tostadas. I even confirmed they had tostadas and said I wanted it before recieving my food. I also tipped. Maybe their other food is good but 🤷‍♀️. It was my first time going there, maybe i'll give it another try in future but not anytime soon. The customer service and atmosphere was good though.

The food is always good and everybody is always friendly when I come in to pick up an order or dine in. The salsa bar is a plus too

Great tacos, and many great salsa in the salsa bar. Whole roasted jalapenos, the canned pickled kind with carrots and onions too.

El Taco Del Rey 2 is an absolute gem. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and tasted like it was made with real care. They even have a salsa bar! Our server Rosie made the whole experience even better with her kindness and perfect attention. She checked on us just enough and made us feel welcome the whole time. This will definitely be one of my go-to spots.

My partner and I have tried this restaurant several times. The first two times were mediocre but not bad enough to warrant any hate. This last time I literally vomited after my meal. The refrigerator up front is either not up to temp or the desertswere expired. The tres leches was sour. Like smells like old milk expired. After another mediocre meal then the desert to top it off I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know

Paid $37.57 for a carne asada plate, horchata, and sopapillas. No itemized receipt was given, and the prices don’t match what’s listed online. Feels misleading and overpriced. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Added their own tip to my bill without my knowledge for a table of 3. Good thing there is an excellent Mexican restaurant just a few doors down. I won't be coming here again.

I enjoyed my visit. Ate some carne asada with a chile relleno, it did not disappoint. The agua de melon was refreshing. Definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.
