Wow. This is what I kept saying to myself over and over. For starters we got the molé wings. If you haven’t had molé you need to. Maybe last night was an off night, but I’m just confused by this place. Clearly the chef has skill—the tuna tostaditas were unique and delicious. Spicy, fatty, flavorful. The esquites were also off the charts, though needing salt. Where everything fell apart was the tacos. My asada tacos had zero flavor. Nothing. Chopped up beef that was really unappetizing looking with mushrooms and onions….no flavor, no salt, no spice, no sauce. Nada. The pastor tacos were slightly better...
The tuna tostaditas are delicious. The wasabi and pickled onions and jalapeños is a great fusion of different foods. The patatas bravas are the best sweet potatoes I have ever tasted.
