Beautiful, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Loved the mocktail options on the menu, and the lavender one was delightfu! I had the beef stroganoff and my husband had the shawarma with chicken - both were excellent. The mousse cakes, a mango and a raspberry, were incredible - unlike anything we’ve had before! Highly recommend and looking forward to returning soon!

We had a delicious dinner here, filled with fresh, flavorful, and creative appetizers and entrees. The roasted carrots, chicken Kiev, and ragu were especially good! Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the ambience was relaxing and cozy.

Evergreen Restaurant was absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was outstanding – full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The variety of drinks was just as impressive, and each one was crafted perfectly. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional – delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend Evergreen for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Just recently visited Colorado Springs from MS. Saw a TikTok about evergreen while I was trying to decide what place to try out and I immediately booked a reservation. The tartar was fabulous! Their hazelnut cake thing was 10/10. Idk who they got in that kitchen but she throws down! Def will be eating here again when I come back for another trip!! (Also made a TikTok reviewing the place with detailed pictures @shaebabii01)

My husband and I went for the Ehret wine dinner…$75/person which we thought was reasonable. Upon arriving, it was raining and what we did NOT know was that there was a first session for this dinner and they were still going, even after our 7 PM arrival time. We stood out in the rain underneath a covered patio along with many other patient people, but there was rain still coming through the awning, so we all got a little wet. The supposedly new owner of the place, when we were allowed to come back in, signaled to obviously a friend of hers outside to come in first. Not a great way to start the night for the rest of us. We were allowed in and were seated. The wine was absolutely wonderful, and the owner of the winery was great.
The first course was an amuse bouche of salmon with a crème fraîche topping and fried capers. It should’ve been served without the cucumber in a glass spoon and was pretty tasteless. Then we were provided a panzanella salad that was almost inedible because the bread was so hard. We were then provided with a crab cake over cabbage, and the crab cake was burned and hard, and there was so much cabbage, it was overwhelming. Then we were provided with a chicken thigh with a sauce and fried potatoes. It was cold and the sauce was gelatinized. I will say that the chicken was tender, and that the gelatinized sauce was tasty, because at this point, I was actually hungry from not being able to eat the rest of the food. After that we were given a half inch thick round pre-sliced filet mignon, and I noticed that some people had blood on their plates and other people complained about theirs being overdone. And it was cold along with the mashed potatoes. Then we were given a little box with a macaroon that was absolutely delicious and that was the best part of the whole meal. We don’t make these comments litely because we know how important this is to the chef, but my husband and I ran our own catering business and also have traveled around the world and to pay $75 for that meal was only about the wine at this point, of which we bought three bottles. We truly do hope that the new owner will succeed, but she will need to have many conversations with her chef and she should definitely not play favorites with people waiting to come inside of her restaurant.

Practice the trompe-l'œil pastries and stop selling them until you get them right. They don't even look remotely like fruit, just unappetizing blobs. Those embarrassments should taken off the menu or given for free until yall make them right.

My wife and I went for a date night. Excellent food. Not sure how people had bad things to say about it unless it was an anomaly of a night. The 4.4 starts is not an accurate representation of the food. Waitress gave good recommendations. The food options are very unique across different cuisines. We started with the tapenade and Caesar. Both were delicious. I had the paprikash and my wife had the chicken kiev. Perfect portion size for each of us. We shared the coffee bean dessert which was surprisingly good because I typically wouldn’t get something like that. All in all we will go back again

Great food and great service. Unfortunately our night wasn’t perfect but the staff/owner made sure to accommodate us as best as possible. The food is amazing, I wish I would have been able to try the pirogies but since they are made in house they had sold out the night before; luckily that gave me the opportunity to try the beef stroganoff, heavenly. I also really wanted one of their mango “fruit” desserts and my GF wanted to try the hazelnut; again those were unavailable but the owner was so great and got us our second choices made up for us to take home. Overall I had a great experience and would love to go back to try more food and desserts, too bad I live two hours away. A Big thank you to the new owner, I think her name was Christine; she was super sweet and accommodating.

Part 1 REVIEW .
We have visited this restaurant twice, and both experiences were negative enough to warn others.
The first issue: we were double charged on our credit card. When we called repeatedly during business hours to resolve it, no one answered. The only way to fix it was to go through our credit card company and force a reversal. That should tell you everything you need to know about how they operate.
The second issue: the food is grossly overpriced for the quality. But worse than that, when you raise a concern during dining, the owners — who also work the floor — become instantly defensive, rude, and retaliatory. They don’t just ignore feedback, they attack the messenger.
Many people, ourselves included, try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. But when customer service crosses the line into hostility, that goodwill disappears. We’ve eaten everywhere from strip-mall hole-in-the-wall gems to Michelin-star restaurants, and the one thing they all have in common is a willingness to listen. Evergreen is the rare exception: they treat customer feedback as a personal insult.
It’s worth noting that even the best restaurants — the ones with excellent food, service, and reputation — statistically fail within a few years. When you have a restaurant like this, with inflated prices, defensive ownership, and open hostility toward customers, the outcome feels inevitable.
Be warned — if you criticize them, expect retaliation, not resolution. Based on our direct experience, this is not just poor service, it’s a recipe for disaster.
We are ourselves in the hospitality business and we know how hard it is to be successful but - the customer is always right !
Part 2 , Edit 1 : ( addendum to review, rebuttal to owners response ) Your response contains several inaccuracies that don’t reflect our actual experience at your restaurant .
1. “We never received any calls from you” — This is demonstrably false. Multiple calls were placed during business hours, and no one answered. We were left with no option but to dispute the charge with our credit card company. If you truly “resolve issues on the spot,” then why didn’t anyone answer the phone?
2. “The owners do not work in the restaurant” — Another misrepresentation. The very people serving and interacting with us identified themselves as the owners. When we raised concerns, they responded in a defensive, hostile, and retaliatory manner. To now claim the owners weren’t present is simply dishonest. ( Or even worse… if the owners response is true : then the staff here are identifying themselves as owners )
3. “Our menu is online and guests can choose other options” — This completely sidesteps the issue. Yes, the prices are listed — we are not dumb. What is appalling is the total discrepancy between the prices and the dismal quality of the food served. The problem wasn’t just cost, but the combination of poor-quality food, mishandled transactions, and openly hostile treatment when feedback was provided. When I order a MacDonalds quarter pounder - I get a quarter pounder. When I order a 6 oz filet at Del Frisco - I get a 6 oz filet. Not here !
Finally, we are posting the owners’ response here because they have a tendency to quietly revise or delete their bombastic replies after the fact. Guests should pay close attention to how the owners choose to respond to criticism — that alone gives you a very clear preview of the kind of “service” you can expect.
