We had an amazing experience at Felipe’s 109 Taco Burger food truck! I never would’ve thought to put a burger inside a taco, but it totally works—and it was fantastic!
Our family has several people with celiac, and we also deal with other food allergies—so eating out is usually stressful. But Felipe's 109 went above and beyond. He explained his cross-contamination protocols clearly, has a dedicated fryer on the truck, and even looked up specific ingredients to make sure our son could eat safely (avoiding soy and nuts). His kindness and patience meant a lot.
We also really appreciated the green chili—it had the perfect amount of heat, even for someone like me who doesn’t love spicy food. So flavorful without being overwhelming!
I love that he was set up at the kids’ baseball games, just hanging out and supporting Little League. It says a lot about who he is and what his business is about.
We haven’t been to his restaurant yet, but we were seriously impressed with the food truck. We’ll definitely be back! (For others with dietary concerns: the only items that aren’t gluten-free are the buns and queso, and everything else is kept very separate. Cooking protocols are clearly on point—we would’ve gotten sick otherwise, and we didn’t!)

This place is the worst food I've ever had. I ordered the trash nachos with queso, no chili sauce, and no tomatoes. I came home with basically a bowl of chips and lettuce. Not a speck of cheese to be seen anywhere on my nachos. And on the side, they gave me red chili sauce instead of queso. And the whole thing was covered in tomatoes. So I paid $11 for some dry ass nachos that were literally the exact opposite of what I ordered 🙄 Sadly, my husband's meal was just as bad. And we waited over 10 minutes in the drive through. We will definitely never be eating here again.

We ate there for the last time tonight. Our table was absolutely filthy. We used our own wipes to wipe it down and they kept coming up black 🤮 there was a bag of potatoes being stored literally 5 feet outside the ATROCIOUS bathroom. The front of the house just felt so dirty and gross so I can only imagine what the back of the house is like. The fries had a sort of burnt yet flavorless taste like they were made in super old oil. Just overall we left feeling grossed out and disappointed. No desire to return

I have been dying to try this spot. We went with the burger box. 4 burgers with all toppings, fries (a ton), chips (a ton), three sauces I think green chilie and queso and 4 drinks. Awesome spot. Can’t wait to try other meals.

Great spot. Pretty plain on the outside but the food and service are amazing. My husband had a 109 combo which were some delicious burger tacos with crispy seasoned fries. I had the OB combo. The food was gone almost immediately. We loved it! Shannon was super sweet and friendly. We hardly waited for our food at all.
