Best. Sad they gone.
We absolutely loved this place until the announcement of closing. It is absolutely wrong how you handled notifying your employees. To leave them jobless around this time with no severance is deplorable. You knew this was coming for months. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
I have tried to love this place so much because I live close, and I’ve been about a dozen times or so. It’s just so middle of the road for quality and I can’t understand how it has so many five star reviews. The bartenders are never friendly and always have a scowl on their faces.
The beer is super expensive. About a dollar or two more per 16 ounce than other breweries in the springs. And the beer isn’t amazing. It’s not bad, but it’s not amazing. When I pick up a six pack from the store, FH just isn’t one of my top picks, but everybody has different tastes, so to each their own.
The outdoor area isn’t that great. Lots of other reviews say it is, but there’s no shade which sucks in the summer which is prime outdoors sitting area time. The food truck is OK, but again overpriced.
I haven’t been into the whiskey area, so I can’t comment on it.
There are just so many good more affordable breweries with better food options in the Springs. When people are visiting from out of town and want to go to Colorado breweries, I never bring them here which is saying a lot because I live just down the road.
Their beer is great in cans, but even better from the tap and enjoying it by a fire pit. The food is also delicious.
Great service and food outstanding beer plus Seth is rad.
Beer, check. Food, check. Atmosphere, check. Then add Neat whiskey bar and what can I say? This is a great place for locals and bringing out of towners.
Love the environment. Perfect along the trail
Enjoyed the beer, dog friendly patio, and food while attending the Happy Tail Happy Hour supporting Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region!
LOVE this brewery. Great beer/whiskey, great workers, and delicious food!
Nice selection of beers, and a relaxing outdoor environment if it's the evening or fall. Full sun outside earlier in the day- bring your sunscreen!

FH has a great patio. I appreciate the beer selection and my wife likes the cocktails from nextdoor. The food is always good. Try the Mo Hazy, you won't regret it! Update, has been been pretty family friendly( at least during the day) they have some weird signage up that makes it sound like kids or dogs are more obnoxious than drunk adults.🤷
Food was delicious and the selection was amazing for a food truck. FH beers are amazing even in a can, but the staff and the outdoor space made this my new favorite brewery
Best place to get beer, also next door is a place called Neat. It's amazing drinks there also. The food truck is amazing. Bar tender Leon is super nice
Love it here
Great beer! It was pretty busy when I went, so parking was a bit limited. There is a dirt overflow lot, though.
Been on my list of breweries to try in the Springs, and finally got a chance to go. Pretty neat place, with seating inside and out. Parking seemed a little odd as there were two different unconnected lots, but hey, that's fine. Beer is great! Tons of choices for whatever you like, from IPAs to lagers to sours. I really enjoyed the sour I ordered, and they even had some interesting colabs that I'll have to come back for
