As former servers and breakfast lovers, our lens is markedly particular, whilst layered with a shared understanding that comes from years in a similar business. It's why we choose to drive past a multitude of other restaurants and come to this location. 5 out of 5 stars, and when something is off or an accident happens, they make it right.

Eggs were cooked in correctly not once, but twice. Ordered eggs Benedict and husband ordered over easy eggs. Twice they came out overcooked. A very unsatisfactory experience. However, Lawrence and Andrea did their best to make it right. They were very apologetic, embarrassed at the lack of quality and comped our check. We really do appreciate the both of them trying to rectify the situation. It wasn't their fault the eggs were over cooked twice. The kitchen needs work and a lesson on cooking eggs properly. Thank you, Andrea and Lawrence for everything you tried to do!

Highly recommend going to the Barnes location. I go every weekend and always have a great experience there. Multiple times I’ve been to this Academy location and have issues with the service and food. Staff is not friendly and my order has either been wrong or burnt. Today, online ordering is down and they refuse to accept a phone order. I called the Barnes location and placed an order no problem. No questions even asked, just happy to take my order! Not sure if the locations are owned separate but Academy needs training from Barnes!

Can I just say how fabulous of a waitress Lauren was? She was super friendly and bubbly throughout the entire meal. This was my first time here and I wasn't aware of how accommodating First Watch was to allergies. I really appreciate the ability to swap out certain foods without have a spike in the prices. Wonderful atmosphere and incredible food. I will definitely be making trips back to enjoy not only the cuisine, but the atmosphere and personalities as well!
