If you visit the US Olympic and paralympic museum, stop in and get a quick bite with drinks. Reasonably priced food. We had a pizza and surprisingly was one of the ones we've had in a while. Great customer service and we loved the atmosphere.
I went there on my lunch hour as the food trucks were not available. I ordered the nagano nori maki. I was very disappointed as the rice was overcooked and dry. I will not be back.
My adult daughter, her 2 littles and I found this gorgeous place today while spending time at America the Beautiful Park. We cannot with to go back. We had fish and chips which was Gordon Ramsey style next level. Delicious, gorgeously presented and completely satisfying. The only thing I can attribute negative comments to are unrefined palates
The views are breathtaking the place is immaculate and the staff is comprised of consummate professionals.
Flame Cafe is nothing like your typical museum food place. Normally restaurants associated with a museum are not that great. They’re meant to feed your kids when they have a melt down in the middle of the day.
However, this place is worth a visit all on its own. Which is easy to do since it’s separate from the museum and no ticket is needed to go in.
The food is internationally themed, with a few special nods at Olympic cities. Everything is made fresh to order. So while you will need to wait for your food, it’s well worth it.
I tried the Paris pizza and was delighted by the subtle blend of Swiss and goat cheese. The olives give the pizza a nice salty pop of flavor.
The boa buns were flavorful with lots of filling. The buns themselves were not the typical rice flour bun, but still tasty. They were filling enough to have as a meal.
If you do have kids in the midst of a melt down, there is build your own pizza and a smash burger.
Will definitely make it a point to go back here just for the food.

3 years ago I had a very delicious Thai Chicken Pizza and a tall drink of water.

Paid for Boulder Canyon kettle chips, but got plain Lay’s potato chips. Had I known that I would have spent the extra $1 for fries. Burger was good, but the bun was burnt. My husband got the fish and chips and said 1 piece was so rubbery he could hardly eat it. Definitely not worth the money! Staff made me get my own glasses of water, even though they are behind the check out stand. As you can see, the atmosphere and view of the mountains is beautiful though.

We had each pizza and shared amongst us, they were all very good. You can get to this restaurant without paying for the museum, a neat hidden gem downtown.

Food was OK (had the fish) but very salty. It has kiosks and food is delivered to your table based on the number you take. But make sure you pick up silverware from the manned cashier station. Like the museum, card/visa only at the kiosks (don't know about the cashier).
Parking: The parking lot is different pricing depending on time of day but their is also paid street parking. This café is next to/connected to the Olympic and paralympic museum.

Make the vegan option overly expensive and the item is basic except whatever the “chicken” is. Typical mediocre cafe.

Coming to the museum? Don't miss this little restaurant near the end of your journey. Food, service and atmosphere is great. Bonus, they are fab at navigating food allergies. Fries are cooked in soy oil :).
