Go to la bella vita if you want good italian, been here twice, first time the pasta was so mushy it was gross, gave it another shot last week, both of our entrees were served cold. $34 for about 4 ounces of snapper. Sent it back to reheat it and the cook clearly threw it in the microwave, it came back 45 seconds later and the shrimp were like rubber. Overpriced

Delicious food. On point service. Lovely and comfortable seating. Truly delightful evening. Hubby had veal and loved it. I had chix with artichoke and capers and it was awesome!Italian chard was the best. Martini was one of the best. Cheesecake and chocolate layer cake and cappuccino was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening! We’ll be back!!!

My wife ordered the recommendation from the waitress; the chef special which was shrimp, red snapper and lobster. When our food arrived her plate had shrimp and red snapper, no lobster. When we asked the waitress she said there wasn't any lobster. My wife said it would have been nice to know as she could have ordered something else. Plus $36.00 was a lot to pay for shrimp and snapper. A little later the chef/owner, I assume, came around and asked how our dinner was. My wife conveyed the issue about the lack of lobster. He replied in a loud enough voice for everyone else to hear "What's the difference? We sold all of the lobster yesterday!" My wife told him it made a big difference. Why would you say you have something when you don't? He again replied loudly that it wasn't his fault. Then he yelled all the way across the restaurant to the waitress to take the seafood off the bill. My wife said we would pay for it but he walked away. Then a busboy brought us our check. It was my birthday dinner and I was looking forward to dessert which we weren't even offered. We were basically told without words to get out of the restaurant. I have never been treated this way in any restaurant ever. It was awful, embarrassing, and nobody should be subject to this as a customer. Also I ordered gnochhi with bolognese sauce and the gnochhi was cold. The sauce was full of sausage bits and spicy as hell. It was not good but nobody asked how my dinner was.

I've driven by this restaurant for many years, and I've been curious, because it is in and out of the way location I haven't stopped in until this last week. Boy have I been missing out. Small intimate Italian restaurant with fantastic food. Reminds me of places I knew when I was younger (eating at family-owned restaurants in Louisiana.) The focus is on good food and connection; not churning and burning.

I walked in a while back dressed with a tye dye hoodie and my backpack. I have money. I wanted to get a drink at the bar. Upon walking in the owner asked how he may help me, told me it was a private event, walked past me, opened the door, and motioned for me to leave. He didn't even give me a chance to respond. I believe I was lied to and judged for not dressing like a millionaire. I actually speak some Italian and frequently listen to Italian music. This was definitely a heart crushing moment for me. I was not treated like a Fratello when I entered fratellis.

This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs, actually of anywhere I have been. The food, Kim, and decor is wonderful. It is also neat that they show artist's work there and it is for sale. I recommend this restaurant to all who ask "where is a good place to eat?"

Love fratelli's atmosphere for a date or special occasion. Food was good but waitress seemed less attentive than usual. We told her my husband doesn't like olives and she said she'd tell the chef but our bruschetta came out with olives as did his salad. Then she asked if she could box my leftovers...and as we walked to the car we realized she never brought them out to me. very unusual to not have better service,

I ordered the special which was delicious and consisted of red snapper, shrimp and artichokes. My husband ordered the prawns. Both of us enjoyed our entrees very much. We ordered dessert, he had the cheesecake and I had the chocolate cake. Both were amazing! We will be back!

Dined here before opening night of philharmonic. We advised of our time constraints when we checked in, yet the two women running front of house moved at snail's pace, and the two did not work together fluidly to mange the tables. My husband firstly ordered the minestrone which we found bland with a vegetable stock reminiscent of boxed stock. He followed with the Mellanzane eggplant dish which reminded him of a reconstructed eggplant parmesan and ok in flavor. I had the chicken marsala which was adequate, but pasta was cold and the chicken was lukewarm at best. We have had better dishes at big box Italian restaurants. Also, a restaurant wanting to appear authentic would have been better served playing Italian music, jazz, or standards; but the top 40 playing did not lend to good atmosphere. Mains were delivered 15 mins before we needed to leave to reach the concert venue, so we had to rush to complete, asking for our bill when food arrived so we could get out the door. Perhaps an earlier reservation would have been prudent, but we have not such a time issue when dining elsewhere before concerts. This is a small venue with fewer than ten tables, not a big restaurant struggling to retain good servers; we expected better. Not a good dining experience all around and likely we will not return.

Had a amazing birthday dinner here! Food was so good and the staff was so nice and caring! Definitely recommend.

I believe the plates are overpriced for such small servings of food. Also, we felt as if the staff wanted to rush us out and get us out f there as soon as possible since we were laughing a lot. Cute place but wouldn’t come back.
